Btw, it is part our poor culture, and part de to the repressive regime policies that have transformed our society. While these things would have happened in the society, pre revolution, ... as it does in any other society in the world, but at least the officials and people of importance at that time, would not behave this way.

But when you put the wrong criteria for appointment of officials (ambassadors, attache's, sports officials, ...etc) such as who's whose nephew or brother or cousin, instead of knowledge and expertise, ... well, this is what we get. Shame and embarrassment in front of the entire world.

I will say right here that I wish Mansourian was our Omid coach because he really impressed me with that team. I like him over Vingada..... but if he isn't an option, which he isn't, then I prefer Vingada over anyone in Iran... not because he is Portuguese, but because he is better than them.

Why do you think he's better though Ando jaan, based on what? I can't stand Afazeli, but even he managed to get a win with this team and as disappointing as the U-22 Tournament was earlier this year, we were in a VERY tough group and at least our showing wasn't total embarrassment like this.

And we're talking about a guy with barely any experience coaching - there are much more qualified vatani coaches in Iran. Hell, I would even take Faraki and Daei at this point over Vingada. They're both looking for a new assignment too.

I would love to know if other nations and teams got such horrible accommodations.
If not, then it just shows how vindictive and cheap the Koreans are to still bear a grudge over their losses to Iran.

One of U22 player wrote in his social network page that he visited Japan hotel and it was like "heaven" in comparison.
