I have no clue how Japan managed to get two very talented players who play regularly for their top teams in Austria and Swiss to come to this tournament.
It is probably because of proper planning. They want to make the Olympics bad and like any professional footballing nation, most likely they contacted these teams way in advance for the release of these papers through proper channels unlike our U23 emailing the teams on a 2-3 weeks notice.

However, with South Korea, one of their players has not played for his team yet while the other has had only 2 apps.
