I read in previous page Scocic is the most expensive headcoach this session.

Isn't that too much to pay for a 4th or 5th place finish, and group stage elimination in the ACL?

I read in previous page Scocic is the most expensive headcoach this session.

that's not a fair assessment considering his had to play a with 2nd and 3rd string team all season.

his had to build a team from scratch and still managed to make it competitive. if foolad had the same squad as last season they would have been champions this season as well.

Ok, I give him the benefit of the doubt for this year, but I detect 2 important problems with Scocic right away. First is the language barrier, second is the player selections: he didn't bring any Brazilians into Foolad this year. Foolad always thrives when they have Brazilians in their midst.

I disagree that this should be considered as a problem. Skocic makes the best transfers overall in the league by a good mile. His foreign players are always quality unlike the majority of Iranian teams.

This year he acquired Mathias Chago who proved to be excellent as well as Aloys Nong, who was playing in La Liga (!!) just before joining Foolad, who is also currently one of the best forwards in the league. Mesaric ditto he is a quality defender.

The good thing is that he never buys "3rd rate" foreigners and is always sharp in his transfers. Last year he got Padovani and Luciano Pereira, who were also among the best foreigners in the league.

He is a quality coach IMO and it's great news for Foolad that he's staying

The way they decimated foulad and took half its main players away in this season, it was a miracle they didn't end up in relegation zone. It's even a bigger miracle that they are still in the running for an ACL spot.

I think Faraki was better than Scocic. Also it's only fair if Foolad Novin is cleared to participate in the IPL exactly as is, with the same coaches and players... They earned it and so fully deserve to be in the top league. I want to see if they are better than Foolad's other team under Scocic.

Why IFF and league organization allowed such clear violation for Saipa to have financial interest in Tractor?
This is same issue preventing Foulad Mehr Novin to join IPL. Foulad Mehr Novin although is a different organization but financially not independent from Foulad.

Teams should be financially independent according to ACL and IPL. There should be no discrimination and rules apply to all equally.

Foulad is not the same team that used to be.They have lost 3 of their national team players (Rahmai, Rafiei, Abdollahzadeh ) to Tractor and two ( Saeidi , Karami ) to Malavan & 2 more ( Masahaei & Jahankohan) to Nzamini& Fajr. Their best forward moved to Naft.

They are building new team without stars and it will take time for them to become a team.


Game is in Green park against Red lighting a very strong team ( rank ahead of Fenerbahce) They were playoff finalist. Two days ago defeated Uzbekistan Olmalig FKteam 2-1 and i take it they will start with same players.
