But I'm still concerned about the experienced quotient of the team which is just as important as youth energy for a club to be a contender. Quality certainly has been downgraded from last couple of years with departure of all our stars

Sepahan's Championship did not come cheap. They had a great team but they spend much more than have claimed and more than target ceiling.
They had this issue before and caused replacement of their chairman. Today Khalilian was let go same way Saket was fired , simply for over over spending.
They have apparently decided to follow Foulad Khuzestan policy & approach, budget management perhaps reduction, rely on their youth programs and players.
We have to wait and see if the new policy will stand as Esfahani fans they expect Championship and strong team.

برنامه ای به مراتب قوی تر از فولاد دارم،
چرا که آن زمان (سال 76 تا 72) فوتبال به این شکل نبود و کمبودهایی وجود داشت. همانطور هم که گفتم آدم ها مهم نیستند بلکه سازمان و تشکیلات قوی اهمیت دارد.
باقریان با رد این مسئله که قرار نیست در سپاهان تغییراتی شکل بگیرد، ادامه داد:
فعلاً قصد نداریم تغییراتی انجام دهیم. بهتر است به جای تغییر افراد، نگرش ها را تغییر دهیم و شیوه کار را عوض کنیم.

اگر دیدگاه ها تغییر کند و از تجربیات همان افراد استفاده کنیم، کار راحت تر پیش می رود.

the thing is khuzestani athletes are very talented . so the only thing remains is to provide the facilities and opportunities to show their quality. all I'm saying is that other provinces may not have as much talent.

It's very strange how Fouled didn't mine and bolster its roster with Foulad Novin players. I see a lot of Novin players in SS Ahvaz, SS Khuzestan, Tehran teams like Naft, ... etch!
I'd have expected the bulk of these would move to Fouled!


Btw, I am very impressed with Naft's roster and moves. Mansourian seems like he has a good head on his shoulders.

Yeah man, Esteghlal Khuzestan is so strong this year with all those Foolad Novin players. Especially Beitsaeid is doing a great job!

I agree 100% - I try to leave some feedback on their Facebook pages and they all freak out if you write in English or appear to be American-Iranian. I feel like we are talking to people who still live in the stone ages... very frustrating and sad.

it less a case of bad judgment than a case of "The usual Iranian tendency" (in football) of generally the system cannot bear a lesser known team becoming strong and a contender.
For example, Just as it happened to Zob Ahan when they did splendidly by reaching ACL's final and trouncing many top asian clubs on the way, just to be dessimated and crushed by the "Iranian tendency" the following season ... which almost led to their relegation! Not to mention the immediate decision to cut their funding ... as a "reward" for their exploits in Asia!!

Pretty much the same has happened to Foulad. Not only their management has been changed (who would remove SUCCESSFUL managers ... unless their's a hidden agenda behind it), their funding also has been reduced to pittance (as a "reward" for their championship trophy). Not to mention the vicious witch hunt for their young but influential players' military service.

it all sounds too incredulous and may seem like conspiracy theorists' talk. But there are examples of this and this is not the first time this has happened to any small club that succeeds in Iran. As if only 2-3 clubs are allowed to be successful AND ALLOWED TO LIVE TO SEE ANY CONTINUATION TO THEIR SUCCESS.

He has recovered from injury.
rumor has it he is the one hosted the Party and arrested but according to news Foulad practiced today with all 23 players.
He supposed to play against Sepahan.
He had serious back injury and Dragon did not want to sign him without medical clearance .He passed the test but Dragon signed Feshangchy
as a percussion. Dragon actually tested Beyt Saeed for LB during the trial.

تمرین امشب تیم فولاد که با حضور 24 بازیکن به انجام رسید،
حدود 70 دقیقه به طول انجامید و بازیکنان زیر نظر کادر فنی به مرور برنامه های دیدار با سپاهان پرداختند.
