There are plenty of talents in Iran so SS and other teams instead of buyig foreign players should get a coach better than what they have. They will develop many players with one good coach and return on investment will exceed what they achieve now.
Just imagine IFF had not hired CQ but had bought a south American player for 2 million and nationalized him. How would TM do then? Perhaps just as good as Qatar....

Riightttt. Khosro joon plays all his career in Iran and now that he is past 30 years old he will transfer in a Bundesliga team. What a nice Cinderella story.
You guys call me when this happens. These stories never end in Iran do they? Baazar garmi is definitely a habit now.

.
Sadly our club management totally lacks the brains or foresight.
Reasons ;
they are not from football ... hell, they don't have any sporting backgrounds
They are hardly educated
They have short contracts themselves, which forces them to have plans only for the immediate future
They are part of the regime, which similarly plans only to survive in the immediate future with no heed to any long lasting foundations for the prolonged future!

AW: The latest Iranian football transfers - 2014
Even if they don't get foreigners, they mostly play rhe old domestic players. How many defenders below 25 are regularly playing?
Especially at the top clubs? They are all above 30, with the exception of Khalilzadeh.
Esteghlal consequently refuses to play any young players at all.
