I agree , unlikely Foulad can repeat their superior season. They are in process of recruiting 2 foreign players including a GK but they will struggle to stay on top 5 early on. They will do better second half.
Foulad will miss Luciano and Karami ( both gone to Sepahan) but missing Padovani will hurt them more given Karami departure. Foulad only has Vali as real CD , they have to rely on their youth players.

Sepahan football club announced the signing of Brazilian striker Luciano Pereira Mendes on a two-year contract from Foolad on Saturday. He joined Sepahan on a one-year contract.

The 30-year-old striker, who began his career in Iran Professional League in the summer of 2012, helped Foolad to the championship last season with scoring nine league goals. He also scored six goals at AFC Champions League for Foolad.

Sepahan is trying to sign one more striker to solve its attacking problem. Their first choice is to bring back Mohammad Reza Khalatbari who did not reach an agreement with Persepolis.

The new Iranian Professional League campaign will kick off from July 31."
