They can speculate and report and make as many claims at they want, but if you know the first thing about FIFA and their level of corruption and carelessness how can we have any hope it will be moved?

For gods sake ppl have been enslaved there which is a known fact and STILL there hasn't been any action. No hope whatsoever.

These documents will be shrugged off the same way the enslavement and other stuff has

Fifa is facing fresh allegations of corruption over its controversial decision to award the 2022 World Cup to Qatar.

The Sunday Times P.S: Bin Hammam was initially banned from football for life in July 2011 after being found guilty of attempted bribery.
The allegations centred around bids to buy votes in the Fifa presidential election of that year.
However his ban was annulled a year later by the Court of Arbitration for Sport which said there was insufficient evidence to support the punishment.
Bin Hammam then quit football saying he had seen the "very ugly face of football".
Fifa issued him with a second life ban in December 2012 for "conflicts of interest" while he was president of the Asian Football Confederation._________

I read today, that if proof can be shown, that there was bribery going on, then they will re-vote. There's still hope!

That's what the article above says. I also heard on TV that talks to distribute the games across several ME countries rather than Qatar alone is also gaining traction. I am not sure how likely any of this is, but anything beyond what is currently scheduled for 2022 will be an improvement!

it's honestly sad that this thread has gotten to 8 pages. let's be honest, this isn't about right and wrong, or whether qatar is a suitable host, or whether there was corruption involved with the vote. if these exact circumstances were in play except the world cup was in CHILE or CANADA etc. there's no way it would garner this kind of attention on PFDC.

the last 8 pages of this thread has everything to do with irrational, racist feelings towards arabs, and nothing more. it's little more than a manifestation of jealousy that our "sooskmar-khor", "uncivilized" arab neighbors are hosting world cups while Iran is in the shitter.

No other World Cup host has had this type of obvious and out in the open cheating for there to be a comparison of the reaction of PFDC members. It would be a shame if this thread was closed and we were prevented from sharing information regarding qatar's cheating ways.
