I've been saying it from the beginning: it won't change. We are talking about FIFA ppl, the most corrupt organization in the world. I love the fact that there are ppl against it and try to do something about it but reality is corrupt mofos like these only answer to one thing and that's money which the qataris have a lot of.Team Meli Iran

Ok so Fifa comes out and says that the Garcia Report (an FBI investigation) showed that Qatar and Russia are cleared of any wrongdoing, and that the English FA is the one that was trying to sway votes:

Then, Michael Garcia, the writer of the two-year report, says that Fifa's conclusions are wrong and erroneous:

Can we just have a new governing body of football?

FIFA cleared by World Cup bid probe? Not so fast
http://www.cbsnews.com/news/fifa-cle...e-not-so-fast/
"GENEVA -- Just when you thought the turmoil surrounding FIFA couldn't get any more tangled, along comes a new twist to stir things up even more.
If the leaders of soccer's scandal-scarred world governing body thought Thursday's report into the 2018 and 2022 World Cup bidding process would put to rest any suspicions of corruption, they should think again.
Winning host nations Russia and Qatar got what they hoped for when the report from FIFA ethics judge Joachim Eckert largely cleared their bids, but the saga is far from over. That's because the American lawyer who led the investigation disputed Eckert's findings."“It is easier to fool the people, than to convince them they have been fooled." - Mark Twain
