My thoughts on today's game:
- PP looks much improved from last season. The passing game they had going looked real solid as I saw a lot more pass and move than I usually see.
- the result is decent, naft has a respectable team and coach so a draw is by no means bad news.
- kafshgari and abbaszadeh were my two favorite players....they were the main two players I was alluding to about the pass and move I saw.
- makani looked solid but still not sure if he is better than Nilson. Until we get a good replacement for hosseini (the Costa Rican dude could be the answer, he is currently practicing with PP and will likely sign in the next week) the GK position will be huge, and I have a significant amount of higher confidence in Nilson.
- noruzi needs a bit of time to get used to his new team, but when he does, man will it be a beautiful thing to watch.Team Meli Iran

Anyone else notice how tough our first four weeks of matches are?
Week 1 vs naft (1-1)
Week 2 @ foolad
Week 3 vs zob ahan
Week 4 @ malavan
Man, aside from playing sepahan and tractor, that's about as hard as it gets.
Although I said I was pretty satisfied with our result and performance against naft (considering it was our first game of the season) we are really going to need to step it up to get wins against any of these three teams.
Watch out for noruzi and abbaszadeh in week 2, a goal for either one of them if not both is very necessary for their confidence going forward!Team Meli Iran
