    3 - the penalty, the f**king penalty

4 - why should a person, born in the same country as the bosnians (jugoslavia) be the referee at all?

5 - He didn't give any cards to the Argentinean players when they made really dangerous tackles on the ankles of our players (Pouladi and Teimourian)
This ref was truly shit, when he blocked our players he didn't give us the ball back and stopped a couple of attacks.

        This is for the critics:

I don't think some of the members don't understand the magnitude of this performance!
Have you thought about our players and their playing experience prior to this?
Our best player Dejagah is a sub in a relegated EPL club.
Jahanbakhs is a sub at NEC.
Massud is in La Liga 2.
RGN is a sub at a FLC club.
The rest are from PGL that is at it's lowest point in terms of production where 37 year-olds are best players!

Then take a look at Argentinians and where their players are coming from!
They are all key players and play in top flight European teams where they rub shoulders with the likes CR, Messi, Ibra, Balotelli, Suarez, Cavani, ................. on daily basis under high pressure and competitive conditions of those leagues.
When they play for their national team, they face top flight European teams in friendlies and top level South American teams every year in Qualifications of WC or SA Championship.

So, please forgive our players if they fail to live up to your over-hyped expectations of them playing flawlessly and not losing possession to the Argentinians or failing to mark Messi properly!! (Something they did very well for 90 minutes!)

Please have perspective And understand the context!!

I don't care if we lose against bosnia. I am just so proud of these guys! We proved the world we aren't the worst team in the world cup! We are actually one of the good ones with a solid defense! We gained the respect of every football fan out there.

                Folks,

So in your opinion what would be the best case scenario for us in Nigeria vs Bosnia match? Seems like a Bosnia win will better benefit us!?

A high win for bosnia would be the best.

Then we need only a Win against bosnia.

I think a tie is the best outcome while a Nigeria win would be the worst case scenario. Argentina probably doesn't care about their last game since they already qualified so it will come down to goal difference. If Nigeria beats Bosnia with 1 goal or more and we beat Bosnia with something like 1-0, Nigeria is runner-up on goal difference..

                        This.

                        Bacheha mochakerim!

Javads lost ball was really bad, but let's not forget there wasn't much help there.

Referee did well aside from the not given penalty and the yellow card to Javad.

Great sense from ando to not get booked, while he wasn't as great as in the game before he again showed a nice performance, but really, all of them did.

Shojaei lacks the awareness on the defensive part and is a risk, at the same time he has shown that he is one of the best creators when he gets the ball.
I think Jahanbaksh should've been brought in before Heydari, but that's about it.

Hopefully out brave defenders get some opportunities to play in Europe after the World Cup.

Now let's not get ahead of of ourselves, in the last match, for the first time we have to go for the win. But after this performance it's hard not to dream.

                        What a nice day!

So proud of our team melli. Messi's goal felt like a dagger in our hearts. If Bosnia wins against Nigeria, I will feel better because then we would need a win against Bosnia even if we had drawn against Argentina.

Great game. I am always optimist and I watched the game with the same mindset. Our players were phenomenal and I am pretty sure what they did today will effect Iranian football in such a way that more young talents will be taken up by European scouts. By 88 minutes it was a bit clear that our players either had wishful thinking or tired but that discipline aspect was rubbing off. I dont want to criticize because what they did today + the scoring chances they provided shocked me and changed my view about this team. Even if we do not make it to the next round I feel that this game has bumped us up a notch in the footballing world.
