POST-MATCH | Iran - Argentina | We have earned A LOT of respect!
If Nigeria scores one more goal, Iran will almost certainly be eliminated barring some surprising final day results.
Nigeria would be +2 and would have to lose by 3 goals against Argentina, combined with a 1-0 Iran win, for Iran to advance. Perhaps the latter is doable, but Argentina hasn't been pushing the tempo to win games by that scoreline and I doubt they'll risk it.
What was unnerving about Spain, was their apparent marriage to their slow build-up tiki taka!
They were obviously losing 2-0, but they seemed unable to try something new, like some freaking direct football instead of the method that killed them in two games!
They had nothing to lose, yet they wouldn't try!
For team full of very talented players that could even attempt dribbling through defenses, it was painful to watch!
Where was their "Shoore Hosseini"??
You are all wrong...
Argentina will have no pressure on them but they sure as hell will go all-out to make a statement, everyone has been criticizing them so far and they will want to batter Nigeria and raise their self-esteem going into the knock-out stages.
Bosnia on the other hand will be out with 0 confidence, 0 motivation and no reason to win other than pride.
It is a much better situation we find ourselves in then playing against a fired-up Bosnia. Argentina will deliver against Nigeria.
Dude what's up with European teams?
I wish Spain, England and Italy were in our group!!
Seeing their overly calm way of playing while behind is unnerving to me!
And "Khak too sareh" Bosnia for not inviting Ibra when he was young!
Dzeko is not as good as a strand of Ibra's hair!
Ibra was invited by both Kroatia and Bosnia if Im not mistaking it. Ibra has said that Sweden always been nr1 for him wich Im glad for because Im at Swedens every home game
