Please make a petition and send to FIFA to fire the guy and not ever using him again. I am sure there could be more than 100 million in the world who would agree.

stop blaming the ref. yes it was a penalty but forget about fussing too much about it.

Our mission was accomplished and it doesn't matter what the ref did/did not do

Haghighi was spectacular in net. I really feel (no disrespect to the others) he is the new # 1. Dejagah was very unlucky, and oh boy Reza just a bit more patience on the finishing. I think we can take 3 from Bosnia, and for me, that has been the plan from the start. I would like to see some more support in attack for Reza...perhaps Ansarifard?

Btw, Shojaie, best game I have seen from him in a while. Passes were nice, held the game, and on defensive end contributed relentlessly. Dejagah was in beast mode, and deserved a better result from that blown call in the box.
Remember RESPECT BEGETS RESPECT & Zob Ahan

Iran-Argentina post-match discussion NO spoilers in thread titles please

The only guy who is the blame: is the referee.
I am amazed by our performance. Bacheha Khaste nabadhid.
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

What a great performance by our boys and CQ. Shame on everyone who said that our players can't pass properly and CQ isn't suited for Iranian football. Khejalat bekesh!

Reza and our 2 center backs were man of the match today. Dejagah and Fooladi were solid too.

Come on guys, you cant ask for more vs Argentina. This performance was just as heroic as our win vs USA. always remember that

They played very well. Against Nigeria the defense was shaky and nervous and the players look lost. This game they were very well organized and the confidence grew as the game went on.

If Iran had made better decisions with their passing when they had the ball they could've really posed a threat to the Argies' defense beyond the occasional Gucci and Dejagah run

It took a wondergoal to break down the Iranian bus and that's what Messi had. gg
                  pls save us dejagah

I lost some respect for Argentina when they stepped on Andranik's ankle and as he went to the ground in pain instead of kicking the ball out they attacked our 10 man team.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Excellent game by our boys. 1-0 is extremely respectable.

If we had conceded a goal half way through the game it wouldn't have stung so bad. Getting past 90 minutes and then giving one up is like being drenched in cold water. So deflating.

Greatest TM performance I've seen in my life time. Particularly the second half.

In tears here .... BUT THAT'S MORE LIKE IT.

Pooladi, haghigi, Reza and lot of others just gain a transfer to Europe.

Argentina is so weak, hope they won't concede point against Nigeria now they are qualified.
