POST-MATCH | Iran - Argentina | We have earned A LOT of respect!

LOL, all over twitter we have been getting a lot of respect. Especially from USA soccer analysts. WE went in there and played the only kind of game we could play against a power house like Argentina. And we pushed them to the end. We forced them to get frustrated and put more players up so we could counter on them. And it was working, we just weren't getting the best shots. I can see how mad Dejagah and Gucci are, they really want to score and I expect one of them to against Bosnia. It took a world class player to beat us at the end.

It's sad that we lost but we have to use this as motivation and beat Bosnia. We have done it 4 out of the 5 last meetings, we can do it again.

    ZENDEH BAD IRAN!!!
Brother can you please change that picture on your avatar for few days?

CQ after the match: My players did very well, I am proud of them, I am not upset for the loss and we are still hopeful. Today something bad happened because two people persons affected the result first was the Ref and the second was Messi.

Tragic. that haghighi sub was the only mistake. we owned them in the second half. I havent cried like this for so long. this could have so easily been Iran 1 Argentina 0.

I made a mistake. Actually A bosnia win is better for us than a nigerian win. I don't know why I thought Bosnia had a point. Draw or Bosnia win and a win by a large margin. We can beat bosnia, We should have beaten Nigeria and we could have beaten Argentina

2nd half was amazing. I hope CQ can get the boys to bounce back mentally before the do-or-die game on Wed
Yes.. he grew to all of 5'6", and is still under 145lbs.

I hope you are being sarcastic.. otherwise, please don't talk. Messi beat us because he is already one of the top 10 footballers in history. Get real.

It's a difficult task accepting the outcome of the match but its not impossible, however what absolutely devastates me personally is knowing that our players had only one other thing besides CQs tactics fueling their performance and that was their Iranian GHEYRAT.
On so many different occasions the Argentine strikers had their ball stolen by our defenders and did absolutely nothing about winning it back because they didn't want to exhaust themselves. All 11 of our men did their best in 99% of the game. I just wish I hadn't seen the devastation when it all ended. Hopefully the enormous level of gheyrat that this team possesses brings joy to all Iranians around the world.

Eventhough my heart is broken but I'm so damn proud of this team. It was an heroic performance by this team. Don't you guys forget that we played Argentina with bunch of superstars in every damn position, also worlds best football player (Who I hate). We never counted on the points for this game so no harm done. Instead, we gained lot of respects from whole the world because of this excellent performance. According to FIFA, one of the most well organised and disciplined team. Even the Swedish Commentators were praising Iran and said they did deserve at least a point and they also agreed that Iran should have got the penalty. From the beginning we were suppose to tie Nigeria, loose to Argentina and try to get full pott against Bosnia which should still be the agenda. Go IRAN. We love you.

HOLLLLLY CRAP what a brilliant performance

I watched the game at a local pub with no Iranians around and all the neutral people in there were clearly going for Iran. I was sooooooooooo proud!!!!!
In the beginning, there was nothing. And God said: "Let there be light!" And there was still nothing, but you could see it.
