yeah man, i really though Ashkan had scored with the header.

But i kinda sense we had lost discipline after 90th minute...I dunno where our pressing was? I cant believe we gave Messi that chance ((((

Iran lost because of Messi's magic and our captain's biggest flaw carelessly losing the ball. What's he doing dribbling in the middle. Javad does this so frequently and it has cost us so many times. Javad does so many other things for our team, but his giveaways can be lethal as they were today.
Believe me, I am as heart-broken as anyone, but that goal by Messi was one that most in the world couldn't have placed, even if they had 10 chances with no-one guarding. That goal was incredible, and if you're going to get beat from that far out on a curler just inside the far post.. well.. all respect to Messi.

Messis goals was due to Nekounams selfish dribble.

              - He stole the ball from Dejagah while Iran was on the counter attack.
              - He gave Nekounam a yellow card for no reason.
              - He denied Dejagah an obvious penalty.
              - He gave Shojaei a yellow card for a foul that didn't deserve a yellow card.

What the fuck. I don't get it.

Great game by the whole team. Not a single weak player on the pitch.

Haghighi had a phenomenal game. What a call by CQ to have him start. He should be getting nice offers after the WC.

it was a penalty, but besides that he controlled a game that could have spiralled out of control. Let's show some fckin class and respect in the wake of this game, please !

two factors contributing to the loss today

                    1. Referee for being so one sided -- obvious penalty! It was called by the assistant ref. but ignored by the blind referee
                    2. Tactical mistake by CQ brining on a cold defender on min 80. The goal came from R Haghighi being so lost in the game

Having said that.. IRAN did well and everyone deserves a congratulations

on Danish television all three experts agreed that Iran deserved the win.

what we learned from this match is that we can play better than the best.

lets focus on Bosnia and put our faith in CQ.

He has no backbone. No balls at all or integrity. It was clearly a foul but he was too afraid to pull the trigger and blow the whistle because the other side was a team with a recognizable name.

For the love of god, he didn't even award a corner kick (the ball clearly went off the tip of Argentina's toe)
