This hurt sooo bad, words cant explain... I wish it was as 'simple' as beating bosnia to go through, but if nigeria wins tonight and draws argentina even a win wouldnt be enough. Lets hope bosnia beats nigeria

Hosseini after the match It was a great match we were focused, we worked very hard but unfortunately we lost. We took advantage of our chances and If Ref would have called that penalty on Ashkan things would have been different. We do what we can to make our people happy that is why we did what ever we could today but chance turned its back to us.

Lets root on Bosnia now because:

- If Bosnia beat Nigeria; Nigeria will have a negative goal difference equal to, or worse than our goal difference (-1)
- If Bosnia beat Nigeria; Bosnia could still technical get the top spot in the group so Argentina must field a full strength side against Nigeria as they surely don't want to meet France
- If Iran is victorious against Bosnia in our final game Nigeria must beat Argentina by the same margin as we beat Bosnia; which is unlikely given Argentina must field a full strength squad

Don't underestimate Bosnia though; if they do beat Nigeria they have surely proven they are better than us on paper. Keep in mind their loss against Argentina was exactly the same as ours a moment of brilliance by the best player in the world.

I feel for our nation, our people needed TM to succeed in this game in order to heal their shattered lives , hopes and dreams for few days atleast, there are a lot of homeless and poor kids in iran that their only joy in life is to see iran win, watching team melli is their only share of iran , and they must feel devastated tonight , very heart breaking

I just have a few things to say though. FIFA should give their bloody idiotic refs some binoculars instead of a stupid shaving cream so when a blatant foul happens in the box they can see it; and its just so cruel that for 90min we defended great but in the 91stmin we had Guci instead of ando or polladi or javad marking messi; one small defensive slipup and it cost us

The future is bright; heads up and lets take down Bosnia !!!

The guy truly showed his metal , he deserves honorary iranian citizenship if we qualify , he managed to outplay argentina
Every iranian must pay a dollar to keep him for as many years as he wants , but im afraid IFF will not keep him on board

It was a very entertaining match and the game plan was excellent. The whole team played amazing and they seem to be very hungry for the Bosnia match.

The best part of this entire tournament is to see how much our football is progressing.

I am still in denial... Did Messy really score?
And like many of you I think Dejagah should've stayed. He was obviously very tired but was used to the pace of the game. I doubt if R Haghighi ever touched the ball.
And where were Ando and Nekounam when messy scored? Why was it Gucci who was following him? We got over-confident in the last 10 minutes and it cost us dearly.
