Clear indication that he guessed (Dejagah got the last touch and that the defender made no contact with him). But he guessed correctly is the point, the defender made contact with the ball.

Be objective.
1) Defender touches the ball.
2) Defender makes contact with ball before the contact with the player.
3) It's not a penalty.
It was a 100% penalty.

From my understanding, you can only foul (having got the ball first) if you're deemed to be 'careless, reckless, or using excessive force' which didn't really seem to apply greatly there. Either way, as said, it's happened, I was just not liking the fact the referee is made a scapegoat. That match wasn't about the referee, it was about our heroes and one genius.

Originally posted by LDOGAbsolutely no, Argentina won't play soft against Nigeria because:
a) A loss makes us lose the first place and sends us to a hell bracket vs France, Germany, etc
b) After two bad performances, the people will become really angry if the next game is played in the same mood. We HAVE to wash our image in this game.

Masoud is such an enigma. dude is disappointing for like 50 minutes, then he dribbles the ball from our own half all the way to argentina's like a world class player and helps to create one of iran's best goal scoring chances in the game. like what's wrong with you masoud? you make us hate you then you do that and we love you all over again. and then there are his interviews being classy as fu**
love you masoud.

And on the 8.Day God created Ali Karimi, and he saw he was good!
If Defenders were allowed to use their hands to stop Karimi -

I have to get this off my chest. It might be a little superstitious and call me crazy, but remember that crazy interviewer you were all dissing for asking stupid questions like are you scared of Messi to our players. Then Gucci responded with I don't think I'll meet with Messi during the game cause we both play in attack. Well, I feel that this jinxed it and we saw that Gucci was the man in front Messi at the end who had the last chance of saving us.
I'm not blaming Gucci, but just wanted to share my thoughts with you guys even though they are crazy. Also remember the Khalatbari interview where the interviewer said that his place in Brazil is secured, but then he ended up not getting picked. That's another example.

Just a moment of brilliance would suffice to make the difference between a quality player and an average player!
Anyway seems like we're both on the sam page anyway, Ijust replied to you for the sake of replying!
