You thought wrong. Did I also think wrong when I thought you said we played an 11-0-0 format? I certainly hope you are not changing the subject to simply avoid sharing your thoughts on team formations which you claimed was 11-0-0 for Iran. Of course changing the subject would be taken as you being silenced on the topic by reality (i.e. being wrong on the formation).

So many big mouth shit talkers on this site before the world cup saying how we're going to go to the second round, we're going to beat Bosnia, we're going to finish first in our division. Now that you idiots have been silenced by reality, you resort to shooting the messenger. Sad.
The "messenger" that needs to be shot is the one who told you trolling about things you don't have a single clue about might be a good idea Next time tell that dude to actually watch a couple of those "soccer thingies" on your behalf so you can come across slightly more informed than a six year old.
And while you're at it, tell your troll mentor to send some comments to every pundit on ESPN from Van Nistlerooy to Roberto Martinez who described team melli as "excellent" and "impressive". Also try to troll this nobody called Michael Owen who had this to say after the Argentina game:

Also send a few lines to just about every site that covered that game play by play, starting with The Guardian who had these to say:

Happy trolling kiddo. Good luck with 8th grade this year.

Don't be too harsh on him. Let him learn the basics of the game such as number of players on the field before you engage him in a soccer debate.

Dude he's well into advanced territory. He even knows chances by headers are apparently less important than chances created by foot because some paper he didn't read made a point he doesn't understand. He's all about that soccer stuff. He even watched half a game once before bedtime.

Guys, Off topic, but does anyone know if there is anywhere to watch Iran's matches again?

The only thing I am worried about is the fact our players must have been heart broken after being so close, I hope they arent demotivated thanks to this and hold on for the final clash. That's all I am worried about..

^ I was just about to watch the videos with Iran's counter attacks from this game, in the other thread
But hey, look at it this way: we'll have an awesome Asian Cup, strong WCQ, and we'll all be happy again I'm starting to be optimistic about this team again!

To be honest, I watch that video daily and it gets me sad and proud at the same time..just speechless, what if that header from Dejagah went in..what if we would have a penalty..

It just wasn't our lucky day bro. Their keeper suddenly turned to a Neuer*1000.

If we're gonna get any top teams in our group next world cup, I want Argentina, it's payback time

Ref robbed us of a certain victory when he didnt call the penalty, but he didnt have the balls to give 'Crappy' Iran a win over 'golden boys' Argentina! what a Bastard!! This is scandalous!!

TBH Abtin jaan, that was one of our luckiest days that everything except that infamous suspicious foul on Dejagah worked in our favor, our players played their best game ever, The entire Brazilian in the stadium cheered for us, well maybe pretty muc the entire world wanted us to win and got saddened by that unfair defeat (How many times would you see the world feel that way towards Iran and Iranians?) Alireza Haghighi perhaps had his best ever performance, Messi couldn't jack (Except that late devastating goal) etc.

How many times would we see Iran displaying such startling performance against world powerhorses? we are all indeed proud of our boys for such brave and amazing performance and can't thank them all enough.

But folks at the same time let's keep it real, we're far from making history in football, let's keep our expectations and hopes at a balanced level, at the current time for TM beating the likes of Japan, Korea and perhaps even Australia should be something great to cheer about and cherish!

AGREE, but a draw would have been a million times more fair than such a sad and undeserving loss, first to the idiotic ref, then to Messi's magic...
