As much as some of you folks may criticize TM playing these clubs, I would much rather them to spend longer period of time in training camps and playing these reserve clubs, than only having 1-2 weeks together prior to the AC and playing 1 friendly with a world class national team. What our boys need is a lot of time to gel together and being able to absorb CQ's game plans and tactics.

We're probably the only national team in the world to have its training camps for over a month prior to a tournament. This will pay off. We will reach far in this edition of Asian Cup. I promise you guys that we will!

Amen brotha! Semis if not the final! Anything after that I don't care! Of course winning the title will be the best experience I will have following our beloved national team for over 25 years! Only if we had a competent federation with well over qualified personnel to run it. Knowing the bull shit they go through they will ALWAYS have my support!!

I always think ELO's rankings are more accurate than FIFA's. Australia should be in the top 5 in Asia.

still Korea > Iran? How many times do we need to beat Korea to prove we are better than them?

Our rivals South Korea have introduced a new player in their team. For their problems up front they invited a 27 year old half Korean - half American striker playing for Pohang Steelers in the K-League. His name is Kang Su-Il. Judging from his career he is nothing special. Just interesting that KFA is also recruiting foreign based players.

^Both of their main strikes play in Persian Gulf League.....I thought S. Korea would be in a better place but looks like they somewhat have the same problem of Persian Gulf teams taking their players. they have 6 players in their AC 2015 squad from those leagues.

Plus several players in Japan and China. Yet they have half a dozen players from Germany and England. This is what differs them from us.
