His shot against Argentina was gunna be a screamer had it not been blocked for a corner.

Pooladi
Haghighi
Haj Safi
i guess you being biased because haj safi play for your club .

God, why are you guys so negative? If he didn't want to leave Iran, do you think he would've gone to Europe? It just didn't work out, and somethings in life are like that. Give him a break and atleast give him the credit for putting so much effort into wanting to make us happy and get this done.

It's difficult not to be a pessimist when you support Iran. We haven't really had a lot of good times or things to hope for since 1979. Well, we beat the USA once and had a few players who bench warmed on Bayern, so we've got that going for us, which is nice.
As an Iranian, I know not to get my hopes up for anything ever. We will always be disappointed. We hear, every single year, "Mohamad Ghazi to AC Milan?" "Ando Teymourian to replace Xavi at Barcelona?" "Ansarifard to Liverpool?" "Jahanbakhsh to be manager/captain at Manchester United?"
Yet, after a decent World Cup appearance in comparison to some other teams in the tournament, teams like Oman have players in the top flight of England and other leagues and we don't. What planet is this?
Anyone that wants to be an optimist is a saint. After all of these Swansea, Hull City, Liverpool, etc. rumors and not even one player transferring to the top flight of any decent league, we have a right to be negative. I don't have to support a system that either doesn't build respectable talent or any system that by it's very existence commands no respect.
Nobody that matters in the world respects Iranian football. Ask Mourinho, Guardiola, or Van Gaal to name one current Iranian player or to discuss the Iranian national team. They think of us as on the same level as Saudi or UAE. They know they can't find any talent for their teams in Iran. So yes, don't get your hopes up for next years transfer window please. Just know every single rumor is a rumor, except 1. That seems to be the trend. 25 rumors, 1 actual transfer to a second division team.

Haghighi was pretty solid , except probably one goal vs Bosnia
Ashkan even he wasn't 100 % but head and shoulder better than rest of our midfielders, some few menace in attack came from him
Gucci was decent , put always himself in right position with few chances created
Sadeghi had hell of tournament , very very solid in defense , no one even mention the guy
and yes hajsafi was decent too , but not better than these guys

I disagree, it's not like he brought in Heydari for Ashkan, but he brought Jahanbakhsh, another very dangerous player who mimutes after being subbed in vs Argentina, gave that awesome pass to Gucci. Besides, if you watch the replay of our game vs Argentina, around 70-80th minute when Ashkan is going to take a corner, he barely has the energy to walk to the corner flag. Even the commentators pointed this out. I guess spending too much time injured and in hookah places in London does have some side effects..

Dejagha wasn't nearly as spent as you suggest upon his subbings at world cup and his pissed off reactions to his subbings also suggested the same..! and our opponent's Ds clearly were glad to see him off and their attacking confidence obviously grow in his absence..!

Unfortunately, in today's club football its all about current results but if the current fulham side don't panic early and dismiss Magath, they will be a much younger, fitter and Faster side and major force to be wrecken with by season's end in Championship and beyond..!!
Also, If i recall well, Ashkan's fitness considerably improved upon Felix's arrival at fulham and so did his playing minutes..!! although Ashkan did struggle for full fitness that whole season prior to WC under all three coaches at Fulham, so something was up with him..!!? perhaps he never did recover fully from his injury from the season prior..!!?

* بسیار ناراحتم
Remember RESPECT BEGETS RESPECT & Zob Ahan
