honestly dont think he will get an invite because we have gucci, ansarifard and azmoun! once again sharifi is the one left out! unless CQ decided to use him in the midfield!.. which i doubt but we shall wait and see!

Yes, you are right he always complains about everything - most of which is his own fault! He has been in charge of the team for 3-1/2 years. Did he not know that the Asian Cup was coming up in 2015, that he started running around in September and October of 2014 to start requesting friendlies from the IFF?
Have you ever heard him say I requested such and such friendly (other than maybe Zimbabwe's U-23) and IFF could not arrange it? It's always some vague whining about nothing. Do you deny that even the S. Korea game, the only decent friendly we had, was arranged between the IFF and S. Korea before CQ re-signed his contract?! Do you deny that the request to play Sweden did not come from CQ and in fact people (who have posted on PFDC) were trying to convince him to have that game for a long time?
Look, I don't deny that IFF is shit, but it's not as shit as some of us are making them to be. They obviously had no problems arranging the S. Korea and Sweden friendlies. They had no problems arranging 3 camps of TM Omid and line up Denmark U-22 within a week. They had no problems lining up some decent friendlies right before CQ took over. Not to mention that they lined up 4-5 half-decent friendlies before the WC and exactly the type of teams that CQ had requested. It's a little tough to accept that they went retarded and completely incompetent in the last few months, wouldn't you agree?!
Let's assume IFF is shit and all of this is because of sanctions and all that jazz. What about the Portuguese football federation? They were under sanctions too? They were shit too? How come Portugal didn't have a single decent friendly for the next two years after they got trashed by Brazil in their very 1st friendly under CQ? If what I have said about CQ not wanting to play better teams, how come they never played better teams? Hell they didn't even play teams at the same level. Even if he hadn't specifically said any of this, you think all of this is just pure coincidence?
Personally, I couldn't care less about his defensive and overly cautious approach as long as he achieves results. It would be nice to see TM play a nice style of football and achieve results, but if he thinks that he has a bunch of amateur shitty players and that's all their capable of, that's his prerogative. And nothing would make me happier than if he pleasantly surprises us fans at the Asian Cup. But you gotta admit, we're asking for a miracle at this point. He took two months off after the WC, he has taken time off after every camp when he could squeeze a few more days of practice in while the team was still together.
Our team is completely uncoordinated, we've had players drop off with no replacements getting tested against even half decent opposition and we're a mere 2-1/2 weeks away from our first game. Sure, it's Christmas time and I believe in miracles, but that's really the only thing we can count on and hope for at this point after the disaster which has been our preparation.
I guarantee you we're going to play like shit in the Asian Cup and if we do manage to spring a couple of (or more hopefully) surprises, it's going to be individual brilliance and gheyrat - not because we have a well coordinated, tactically superior team. Let's face it, even with the shittiest vatani coaches, a couple of which you mentioned, we didn't have a disastrous Asian Cup, because of gheyrat and individual brilliance. I'm generally an optimist bro, but for god's sake, he's not giving up anything to be optimistic about - just a few photo-ops, whining and excuses.
Carlos wasnt hired until just a few months back. how was he supposed to plan for AC right after WC, when he is out of job ..?
SK asked IFF for the friendly, it wasnt the other way around..!! they were obviously badly needed a chance to redeem themselves for loosing to us at home and guess what they lost again. the game obviously took place, so all that non-sense about CQ not wanting it, is just hearsay..!
CQ's Record speaks for itself both at Portugal and Iran..!!
just compare Portugal of 2010, very narrowly loosing out to eventual champions Spain and making them sweat it for the ONLY game during that whole WC, easily running over any other opponent that they faced in their way to the crown. so now who the fk remembers their high profile friendlies in the run up to Brazil WC, when they got smoked in group stage there and left with their tails between their legs along with their World player of the year who was so critical of CQ's tactics during his time..!!?
and TM, what there to say..!!? he did what he was hired to do with minimal support from IFF and especially those who finance and control them. took us to WC ..!! made the world stand and notice our football by giving the Semi-finalist their most stern test in group stage and all the way to their meeting with germany. and others may disagree, IMO we lost to Bosnia because he didnt play the same highly defensive and cautious counter attacking tactics that had helped us gain favorable enough results thus far at WC..!! and to a lesser degree was the exhaustion of our starters..! but the main reason we lost that game was because we Opened up in that game and tried to play a more attacking style that we weren't too familiar with under his reign and that vs a very world class and formidable attacking team boasting some of the best attacking players of that time in world of football..!!
just like vs Argentines we shoulda realized the flat-out reality that we were the under-dogs and clearly had the weaker team and how needed to adapt another very conservative and cautious approach and hope for better luck than what we were dealt with vs the argentines..!!
anyways, the reality is that beside the longstanding sanctions , with oil prices at record lows, the whole country is currently in a major financial crisis and IFF, like many other organization in IR is under sever financial scrutiny and limited budget as well.
besides other problems, we simply CAN NOT AFFORD to attain any high profile friendly matches and CQ is simply doing the best he can with the provided level of $upport from the government and i think irrelevant of all these problems we are facing, we still will manage to have a decent enough showing at AC..! I doubt we will do any worse than last couple times...!! i think we will get out of the group stage but after that anything could happen..!!
ps
frankly i dont give a shitt if you dont buy any of what im saying here and you want to keep whining about CQ this and that.!! you go on with your bad self brother..!!
just remember that if did get rid of CQ, there is 99% chance of Regress than progress in our selection of next Qualified TM coach..!!

^ beautifully said BL, people sometimes act as if CQ is working with a competent federation and act as if there is no political aspects that effect TM!
The guy does NOT have a lot of support from federation officials and rather has a TON of support from the fans, which put so much damn pressure on them following the WC to re-sign him and IMO was the reason the negotiations were prolonged, ultimately screwing up TM's chances of a decent preparation! And I don't want to hear any bs saying he had four months to prep TM because it took those damn idiots two months longer than it should have to re-sign him, that's two months of wasted time! You hear it straight from the TM players and staff that they have money issues so wtf can someone be blaming that on CQ for????
IMO those who don't understand his tactics shouldn't be bothered with either, it is something that has been argued and proven here and many other places so many times and the results on the score board speak for itself! No need to go any further than that, well at least for most that isTeam Meli Iran

Is this list the final list and complete?
It's dope actually
Glad to see Sharifi, Ghafour and Beiranvand there.
Gotta love Beiranvand for his hairIRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

He didn't achieve something significant in europe, we dont really need him as a starter as gucci and azmun are better weapons.
It is a waste to have him on the bench while he could improve in spain

From CQ interview
No khosro !!!;
