This is from 1980s. Iran NT advanced to Olympic games in Moscow 1980 but didn't participate because USSR invaded Afghanistan! then the story of not having friendly matches, referee bad calls, and typical anti-football from our southern neighbors began. * The Iran-Uzbekistan friendly before the Turkmenistan game will likely be played in Istanbul. Apparently, TM has to transit through Turkey to get to Turkmenistan anyway.

So who's going to the Uzbekistan game? I'm going to be traveling Europe during that time, so I'm most likely going to change my plans and head over to Istanbul for the game.

we are neoighour with turkmenistan and we have to transit via istanbul, lol, wrong direct, and first fault if we drop points...

if we have a camp there, and friendly with uzbekistan, okay, but normally we should even be able to drive there with bus, lol, unbelievable not to have a tm plane for that period, to bring our team to a neighbour country...
