Also according to Wiki the cost was 50 million which I find hard to believe. It probably is more.

Don't believe in these orchestrated news from Iran. Islamic Republic will not buy 100 Airbus or Boing aircrafts for $20B. These are just rumors to soften politics in US Congress suggesting potential monetary rewards gained by US companies. Total Oil revenue this year in Iran is $20B announced by the Government itself. Therefore, there will no new stadiums in Iran either.

Imam Reza stadium is just a fabricated news. There is no such stadium and if there is one, it will look at best like the rest of b.s. stadiums I.R. has built.
