Below is an interesting article from ISNA, highlighting the poor quality of the artificial grass of the pitch, our boys will be playing on against Guam. It say that Iran can actually deny playing on this pitch because of the danger of injuries to our players.

I think it is something like putting a thin carpet on hard concrete floor and asking the players to play on it. I have to say, this kind of surface is very injury prone especially what goes for ankle injuries and rupture of the cruciate ligament of the knee!

تیم ملی فوتبال ایران طبق قوانین مندرج در سایت فیفا می*تواند در دیدار مقابل تیم ملی فوتبال گوام در ورزشگاه دِدِدو (Dededo) به میدان نرود.

به گزارش خبرنگار ایسنا، تیم ملی فوتبال ایران 26 آبان ماه سال جاری از سری رقابت*های مرحله انتخابی جام جهانی 2018 روسیه در گروه D به مصاف تیم ملی فوتبال گوام خواهد رفت، دیداری که باید در زمین چمن مصنوعی ورزشگاه دِدِدو (Dededo) برگزار شود. ورزشگاهی که گویا حدود 500 نفر گنجایش دارد و زمین چمن آن طبق گفته*های مسئولان تیم ملی فوتبال ایران که هم*اکنون در این کشور به سر می*برند چیزی شبیه به موکت است.

فیفا در بخش زمین*های چمنی که مورد تایید قرار داده ورزشگاه دِدِدو (Dededo) گوام را تا سال 2018 تایید کرده است اما نکته حائز اهمیت این است که بر اساس قوانین فدراسیون جهانی فوتبال زمین*های چمن مصنوعی مورد تایید به دو گروه تقسیم می*شوند؛ گروه اول زمین*هایی هستند که دارای گواهینامه (quality) بوده و برای برگزاری دیدارهای محلی، دوستانه و آماتور در نظر گرفته می*شوند اما گروه دوم زمین*هایی هستند که دارای گواهینامه (quality pro) می*باشند و این زمین*ها حائز شرایط میزبانی از رویدادهای بین*المللی هستند.

بر اساس جستجوهایی که می*توان در سایت فیفا انجام داد که لینک مربوط به آن نیز در انتهای این خبر آورده شده، ورزشگاه دِدِدو (Dededo) گوام تنها گواهینامه (quality) را دارد و بنابر قوانین فیفا ایران می*تواند برای حفظ سلامت ورزشکارانش از حضور در این زمین سر باز زند.

محمدرضا آخوندی کارشناس ارشد تربیت*بدنی و متخصص اماکن ورزشی نیز در گفت*وگو با ایسنا ضمن تایید این موضوع می*گوید: پس از ورود تیم ملی فوتبال ایران برای رقابت با تیم ملی گوام در قالب رقابت*های انتخابی جام جهانی روسیه گویا بازیکنان ایران با چمن بی*کیفیتی مواجه شدند که اعتراض آنها و مربیان تیم ملی را برانگیخته این در حالی است که بر اساس مستندات موجود در درگاه الکترونیکی فیفا زمین چمن ورزشگاه مرکزی گوام سال گذشته توسط شرکت دسو بلژیک نصب و مورد تایید آزمایشگاه لابو اسپورت فرانسه قرار گرفته است. علاوه بر این فیفا در بخش زمین*های چمنی که مورد تایید قرار داده زمین چمن ورزشگاه دِدِدو (Dededo) گوام را تا سال 2018 تایید کرده اما این زمین در گروه زمین*هایی قرار می*گیرد که گواهینامه (quality) دارند نه گواهینامه (quality pro).

به گزارش ایسنا، آنچه در زمینه اعتراض مسئولان فدراسیون فوتبال ایران به کارشکنی*های اخیر گوامی*ها در دیدار مقابل ایران مغفول مانده، این است که به هیچ وجه مساله اعتراض به کیفیت زمین چمن مصنوعی ورزشگاه دِدِدو (Dededo) مدنظر قرار نگرفته است.

مسئولان فدراسیون فوتبال ایران با اعلام شکایت و اعتراض خود به فیفا در ارتباط با عدم صدور روادید برخی لژیونرهای تیم ملی فوتبال ایران همچنان در انتظار واکنش فدراسیون جهانی فوتبال به این اتفاق هستند.

اما آنچه که می*تواند عاملی برای استیفای حقوق تیم ملی فوتبال ایران در این دیدار شود این است که هر چه سریعتر مسئولان فدراسیون فوتبال ایران نسبت به این مساله اطلاعات لازم را کسب کرده و اعتراض خود را اعلام کنند.

قطعا با توجه به صحت این مساله تیم ملی فوتبال ایران می*تواند از رویارویی با تیم ملی فوتبال گوام در ورزشگاه دِدِدو (Dededo) این کشور خودداری کند چرا که قطعا سلامت بازیکنان تیم ملی از هر مساله*ای واجب*تر است. علاوه بر این نباید در مورد مواضع و حقوق تیم ملی فوتبال ایران با توجه به کارشکنی*های گوامی*ها کوتاه آمد چرا که چندین و چند بازیکن گران قیمت میلیاردی در تیم ملی فوتبال ایران توپ می*زنند که سلامت ساق*های آنها از هر چیزی واجب*تر است.

Everybody is jumping on the "we could have done better without CQ" or "we could have done better this way (maybe with an oghdei vatani coach". But guess what, without CQ, with an vatani hezbollahi coach, they would all have begged Arab nations to take it slow on them.

I actually take Rahman Ahmadi seriously, because what he says is true.

He was never our first choice, but we had no other options during the final World Cup Qualifiers. He saved our asses because he had the game of his life, but other than that he was average at best and he had a lot of sooti's during his time with Sepahan as well and he is pretty old which would not be good for long term planning.

When Haghighi was implemented into the team he was no longer needed and I can understand it hurt Ahmadi because he felt he had a chance to become first goalkeeper at the World Cup because he stepped up when we needed him.

He has every right to speak out, absolutely not comparable with Rahmati. Ahmadi is pretty non-hashieh as far as personality concerned

As Abtin mentioned Vatani coaches, here is something interesting, that occured during TM's flight to Guam.

The Iranian and Guamanian national team accidentally had the same flight to Guam. Due to that, Guam coach Gary White met CQ at the airport and had a long talk with him during the flight to Guam. Here is what he said:

"During our way back from India, we met the Iranians and Carlos Queiroz. We had some good talks together. I'm very happy to get the opportunity to talk as a young coach with Carlos Queiroz, who is a very well known man in football. For me, this was a very good experience and something I could learn from. He is a true gentlemen, who showed some great attitude towards me as an inexperienced man. I appreciate this opportunity to talk with him and learn something from him."
