That statement is true about so many Iranians of all facts of life who whose talents were wasted because they were born in Iran. All thanks to how our country evolved over the last 36 years.

May i ask why you bring up such painful memories prior to an important WCQ match?
We should focus on the future.

Right now we are at the edge to get back to the international floor. No need to waste time on the past.
Don't mean to offend you at all.
      love and peace.
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

You have a point, but it was the anniversary of that match and all the Iranian sports websites are running stories about it.

Let's stop living in the past.

On another note, my daughter tore her ACL playing soccer on artificial turf last month. There was no contact, no foul. She was running fast (she is very fast),tried to change direction, her ankle got stuck on turf, didn't give at all, so her knee did. Most-likely this wouldn't have happened on grass. Either she would have slid, or some grass would have come off the pitch and there would have been much less pressure on her knee. That day in another girls game on artificial turf, they had 3 ACL tears. All the same, no contact. On the positive side, if there is any, is that female athletes are somewhere between 2 to 5 times more likely to get an ACL tear than male athletes, so hopefully no one on our team will get ACL injuries on Tuesday.

              That's true though.

Farhad Ghaemi is also in the pictures. He is one of the best players for Irans volleyball team.

Lol, the dude that predicted that Iran will be out in Asian Cup group stages and that his beloved Guam would get a 0-0 draw in Azadi vs us

                        Pure bullshit

PAS was Iran's greatest club team.

Our football is suffering because we don't have them anymore.
