Couple of highlights against UAE teams and low Asian NTs don't mean anything, he was completely neutralized against Iran and any slightly physical team will quickly shut down his game. He is talented but not to the extent that some of you guys mention, he has to prove himself in Europe and only then we will see where he stands. Because against more decent teams, he hasn't done anything and I've watched him play since 2011.
I can sit here and say that Javad Kazemian was the bomb and the most talented player in Asia, his speed and dribbling was second to none, but he rejected European offers because Iranian and Emarati teams were paying him loads.

Let's not hate on this kid, he proved it against some pretty good teams like England and Uruguay in the Olympics.
And don't give me this shit "oh he play in UAE". Almost all the highlights of Ali Karimi's career came from that country where he tore shit up!
And we still treat him like he is in the same category as Messi and Cristiano.
Let's not forget Karimi did absolutely nothing in Europe. he wasn't injury prone before he went to Europe. maybe he was just not ready for such a high level of football.

Its like comparing Denilson to MessiFAGHAT PERSPOLIS

Look at some people here - putting over a no-namer like Omar and putting down Asian giant like Karimi. Magath had him starting in front of Ze Roberto, Andreas Ottl, Sebastian Diesler, Hasan Salihamidvic, Owen Hargreaves, Torsten Frings, Mehmet Scholl - that Bayern midfield was stacked! I remember Karimi getting the nod by Magath over these in-form players.
Omar has done nothing, zero.

Moved to Europe when it was far too late. His lack of fitness made him injury prone. He had never been in such a high performance team. He was used to just turning up in training and playing on the weekend.
Choosing money over Europe destroyed Karimi's career very early on.
Just hope Omar doesn't make the same mistake and becomes a wasted talent.

Omar < Karimi
he has a long way to go to get any close to Ali Karimi. Now case closed. let's discuss Team Melli as this is the purpose of this thread and stop spamming it naming players who have nothing to do with TM or your posts will get removed and you will be warned for spamming.Last edited by webmaster; 01-09-2016, 05:58 AM.__________________________________________________ ________________________________________
