Sad when Rouhani's nuclear team are better able to negotiate with the US than IFF is with CQ.

I am happy, If the IFF Choose Jorge Luis Pinto (ex Costa Rica Coach)

      He is very smart coach.

Iranians who praise, appease foreigners because there is no internal alternative due to situation of the country (IR)

And yes, CQ is one of a kind, should be given honorary Iranian citizenship because the country is so f.ucked up that a foreign cares more than the native people themselves.

This reflects the state of our people and our country. It is very sad.

This is just dandy!! Wonderful news!!! Let's start from square one once again everyone!! Cause stability is just something we Iranians don't seem to be into!! We seem to enjoy starting from scratch every 4 years, and we very much enjoy leaving our fortunes to luck!!

For once in our lives we had a reputable well qualified professional coach at helm, but due to some backassward thinking morons who couldn't give a rat's-ass about our footballing fortunes, and would rather save the Iranian mafia family some pocket change, as opposed to invest in our footballing future, they toy with the best coach we've ever had, and fool all Iranians by make empty promises to the fans (which we appear to be quite accustomed to by now), and even after all had been agreed to where the contract was concerned, go back and add addendum upon addendum to the contract (11 as I hear it) in order to ensure that CQ will basically just give up hope, all in an effort to claim "Well we tried, but he didn't want to sign", when we all know full well why he wouldn't sign.

Screw this administration, and screw this federation, as they have screwed Iranian football for three decades, and will continue to do so at will, cause we Iranians are quite accustomed to being shat on. Whether you want to believe it or not, there is a mafia in Iran who appears to believe that they own the country of Iran and everything that comes along with her.

We will not make it out of our group at the Asian Cup, mark my words!!! Both UAE and Qatar will advance out of our group, and once this happens, I truly hope that all Iran football fans take to the streets in every Iran town and rid our nation of this infestation!!

Oh you really believe that. Then I understand your point of view. Let's continue this discussion in a month. Long after the first two FIFA matchdays btw.

I don't have any doubt that we will be coachless for a few months. That's IFF's style. I am sure many good match days will pass us by. I am hopeful that we get a good foreign coach, and I remember a few years back many people were doubting CQ would come to Iran...so if it happened once it can happen again. And yes, there are better coaches than CQ available, whether they will come to Iran and coach is another question all together...but one can remain hopeful, otherwise being a fan of TM is a very difficult thing to be without hope.

I THINK IFF CHOOSE BETWEEN FARAKI AND BRANKO IVANKOVIC.

                  MY OPTION IS BRANKO IVANKOVIC.

Agreed. Branko is not a fighter. Faraki knows more about Iranian football, players, youth.

                              For now typical Iranian drama.

here we go. just like Ghalenoi knew about the pro league and domestic players that would make a difference?
Count me out on a domestic coach, they simply don't have the talent (maybe one day Hashemian will - although he's not really domestic either)

edit: sorry that sounded a lot more aggressive than it should have. I'm no fan of Branko but I don't trust any domestic coaches
