Since one of Iran representative to ACL is from Playoff games, it is logical to only enter teams/clubs that have minimum requirement and accepted by AFC. Only IPL teams and few Lig1 teams can be qualified so it is extremely counter productive to have these teams participate and eliminate teams that can represent Iran better in ACL games.


Golgohar and Parse even if win championship won't be allowed to enter ACL but were eliminated Foulad & Sepahan.
Thai is insane.
Most of these teams only participate if the game is in their hometown since they have no money to travel . Why would Kafashian and associate agree with such format?

Initially I thought the same way as you did, however after thinking for a few minutes I realized that the format has a benefit.
It helps the lower division teams get some experience and also is good for the talent to be discovered by IPL coaches. It does not matter if they eliminate Foolad or Esteghlal in the hafzi cop and take the chance of appearing in AFC club championship from them. AFC clubs games and playing against damn saudi ar, would be worthless.

Where is the member sorkh who always bashed Kranchar? If you can't score against gol gohare Sirjan I don't think there is any excuse at all. I know they probably parked the bus & the PK was probably not a PK but still how can you lose against them when one of your players is worth more than the entire other team. Shame.
