I don't know if I agree with calling him a shitty coach. He has his pros and cons like everyone.

He surely didn't maximize the potential of the tm squad he had at his disposal, but his team always played the attractive style of football that all the critics are crying about not having. Funny how nobody will ever be good enough unless it's mourinho or guardiola.....

We could argue the same thing about CQ and the lack of offensive. Branko like CQ is a professional. The guy won it all with our Junior squad, and has the added advantage of having coached in the arab leagues. He knows our regional rivals well, and it seems like (I am speculating) he has been following Asian football closely. Is he the best option...heck no, I would take Hiddink, Pep, and even Scolari (despite the heavy loss in WC) any day over him...but this is Iran, and AFC...
