If by business savvy you mean they throw money at everything - yes.

        Surprise Surprise...

Behnam Pishro was disqualified from the auction for missing a payment deadline and Steel Azin didn't meet the requirements to purchase the club. The 4th round of the auction will be held on the 29th of Ordibehesht.

300billion= 85.7 million dollars at exchange rate of 1$=3500 toman. Carrying that much of cash money needs 1.7537 cubic meters if all are in 100 dollar bills. It means carrying 48.53 normal size Samsonite business briefcase (17in*14in*9in) full of money around you! He needs to have a little more than a small army to carry that around

So apparently the reason they didn't allow PP to be sold to Steel Azin is that 98% of his company's shares belong to his son and daughter who are 21 & 22.

I was referring to the Samsonite briefcases and the $100 bills.

Perspolis is truly one of the saddest stories in Iranian and football in general. This club should be the Bayern Munich or Barcelona of Asia with the amount of followers and potential it has.

If Perspolis was strong, rest assured our national team would be much stronger as well. This is the biggest team in Iran with tens of millions of supporters.

If you assess two of the strongest teams in International football in recent years, namely Spain and Germany whom are the past two world cup winners you will see the core of the these teams came from one club that being of Bayern Munich and Barcelona. With atleast 7-8 starters of each respective national team playing in one strong club. Naturally this develops a strong team chemistry, fluency in play and gives the team an edge over other teams.

It really saddens me that there are people in our country holding our football back for personal and political reasons!!
Perspolis needs a strong management that can carry it to its glory days.

Imagine how much stronger Team Melli would be if the core of the team played in the one team.

It is rumored that Hedayati is in debt 3 times of the amount he wants to pay for Persepolis and he is using this trick to avoid the collections... If he goes to jail for his embezzlement, how a 21 and a 23 year old can handle Persepolis? How about debt collectors? They make Persepolis situation even worse if they bring their dirty laundry to the club.

Then you should know that the conversion of $ to toman is about 3300 now. I suspect that you know more about Samsonite briefcases and $100 bills than you claim.
