    Khak to sareshoon,

A coach for specially a team like Iran needs to be long term. I was so happy with CQ signing for another 4 years as he could really build up a proper team. In the last year or so I finally saw something of a real team while before it never looked like a team with organisation or a proper defense. CQ was finally building an Team melli worth believing in. Its all down the toilet again. Seriously KHAK TO SARESHOON

I don't care who becomes the coach now i have pretty much given up on TM as long as these idiots are running our country peeuwwh

The Bosnia game was one prime example, we opened up a LITTLE BIT and we got scored on three times by already eliminated Bosnia.

My opinion might be unpopular but judging from the past 4 years under CQ I think TM has more to offer defensively than offensively. With all due respect, most of our strikers are not prolific goal scorers for their club and TM.

I don't see any foreign coach coming to Iran either, CQ was one in a million. First he also rejected but they offered him a huge amount of money and he took it. If he knew what misery IFF would put him through he would never take the Iran job.
I don't think the Bosnia match was offensive by any means. In order to win you have to score goals...at any level. Even Bosnia's coach lamented our defensive strategy. Eve so, I would rather lose to Bosnia 3-1 than 2-0...would all of those individuals celebrating this WC be doing the same if we had scored no goals at all?

I can't believe we came from CQ's agreement to extend his contract to this...

IFF really knows how to mess everything up when its going perfectly fine; still can't believe CQ is gone for good </3

It was. Soon when we scored the 2-1 we went all forward and what happened? Literally few seconds after Gucci scored we conceded our third goal on a counter attack, how surprisingly.

I am not lamenting that Carlos was not signed/will not be signed? He failed to advance the team when the 2nd round was on the line and the opponent was an already eliminated Bosnian team that had lost to Argentina and Nigeria, two teams that either could not beat Iran or needed ET to win. Instead he produced a shit 3-1 result. Bosnia presented the best chance for 3 for TM but instead we got drubbed. End of story.
It is not going to happen but the natural style of Iranian football suits South American style. Think out of the freaking box for a change.

CQ made a tactical mistake of changing his ultra-defensive approach against Bosnia. He should have stuck with his horses like the Argentina game and hope to score against the run of the play which I believe would have happened and see Iran through to the next round. Iran should have beaten Argentina but instead got the worst possible outcome.

No. Because he is the only Iranian coach to get to the ACL final twice & he is Sepahani. The Isfooni part doesn't matter. We have had non Isfooni Sepahanis such as Veisi & Ghanbari & Khatibi.

i really think the best coaching options if not CQ is
                        Mansourian or Ghotbi
ghotbi got crucified for one bad game against South Korea. other than that we murdered north korea, Iraq (defending Champs) and UAE last AC.
I really like how we played under Ghotbi again minus the South Korea game. Where he just had a bad strategy.

Faraki will be my 3rd option

No to ghotbi. Please no. We have to try to get CQ back, but if not, sign faraki to a short contract for the asian cup. If he impresses, then we keep him. If not, we go after a khareji coach ASAP.

Even with Faraki, how can he impress? We barely have any good time to prepare left, and day by day without a coach Fifa day friendlies are being lost. Iranian football is going to hell and we all know why.

If there is any obsession here, it's obsessing over foreigners, like we always do.

I for one would like to see Ebrahimzadeh or Jalali take over TM. Someone who can fight the internal struggles of the mafia culture, while simultaneously injecting some much needed new blood into the team.
