sardar didnt get involved much they kept passing around him. he played 2nd striker today which he's not used to in rubin

He showed some great skill and ball control in that instance when he was surrounded by 4 or 5 opponents and GREAT hustle when he lost the ball behind the opponent's penalty area and chased the player all the way to the half way line and dispossessed him.

Having said that, I think one, he's being in the wrong position and two is not suitable to Rubin's tactics which is basically running around with their heads cut off like chickens. Sardar's the type of player that would benefit more from a holding/controlling type of game IMHO and sticking with this team is hurting his development.

sardar was sick last year when he was a fix in their 4-4-2. this year he played as lone striker in 4-2-3-1 and thats hard for anyone he's age. but new coach likes him, hasn't sardar played in all but 1 league game this year? Shows he's highly rated still..
