pretty sure one of the first vids on him on youtube had the title "Iranian Messi", then I think articles copied that and that's how it all got started

Sardar Azmoun here, take note this name . Iran 's Carlos Queiroz , busy these days in Australia in the Asian Cup with the aim of bringing home a title since back in 1976 , can also count on this striker class '95 born second striker or outer tip from 4-3-3 but that , thanks to a physical structure for a guy who just turned 20 years , can safely be used as a classic center forward . In this position, it took the Portuguese coach is in primam game against Bahrain , taking over from the bench to Ghoocannejhad , both in the match against Qatar decided by its beautiful network and which promoted the Team Melli to the quarter-finals with a game to advance.

ITALIAN TEMPTATIONS - Growing up in the youth sector in Sepahan , from the 2011/12 season he joined the first team squad which won the Iranian league play without a single presence . The following season , the age of 17 is bought by the Russians of Rubin Kazan , which still plays ; also receives an offer from Inter but eventually prevails willingness to work with the former coach of the Russian team Kurban Beryev . The final season of his consecration is the 2013/2014 , when he joined the first team permanently and produces 5 goals overall between Russian Premier League and Europa League . Enters soon in the viewfinder of the major European teams , including Arsenal , Juventus , Liverpool , Tottenham , Barcelona and AC Milan also , beginning to do so continuously observe .

Volleyball FAILURE - Natural right , but equally adept with the other foot , even at home his fame grew quickly thanks to the undoubted technical qualities and ease of dribbling that are the basis of his nickname " Messi of Iran ." He has made a total of 26 goals in 24 games with the national youth , before debuting last March with the formation of Queiroz , with which it hits for the first time in November in a friendly with South Korea . Milan have not l ' you never lost sight of and , in the light of the boy's desire to test himself in a more competitive environment and a contract which expires on December 31 , has returned to reconnect with his entourage in view of June. And to think that the boy , who wears the jersey 69 as the license plate number of the province where he grew up , he could have a career in volleyball as a father Khalil , as to be convened in the national Under 15. After the flop Torres and l ' goodbye safe in the summer of Pazzini in June, the attack of the future of AC Milan could also start by Sardar Azmoun .

                  (Ibra is 2 meter tall)

Does he have skills like Ibra? No.
(Ibra is the only striker who makes crazy skill goals like an acrobat)

Does he shoot like Ibra? No.
(Ibra shoots like a freaking horse in nearly 200 km/h)

Sardar is just Sardar, and hopefully he will be Asians best player in the future

Been a big week for him.

Shining for Iran, but has really had a poor season at club level so far. Hopefully these performances can help him perform for us in the 2nd half of the season, cause he was really lacking confidence up to now.

We have had offers from unknown sides, but I think the rumours are just rumours and that is it (regarding Milan, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham etc). There has been no indication of which clubs are interested since Arsenal were confirmed to have watched him around 11 months ago.

Top class goal though, no doubt he intended for that turn. From some angles it does seem like just a poor touch, but there are a couple of replays where you can see him making the full movement with his leg, rather than it just bouncing off his heel. So he definitely meant to do it.

I would be very nice to see him go to Arsenal but their injury list is very worrying there. And I feel Azmun is a player that get injuries quite often with Rubin.

The best combo would be to see him go in a big club with a loan somewhere he could have regular playing time (he is young, he need to play) and Rubin purchasing an other iranian talent.

And After all, why not staying in Rubin if he could produce such world class move with TM

The risk of Azmoun of going to Arsenal is that he will get stuck there once they decide to loan him out till his contract ends. That's not good for his career and confidence. He needs regular playing time at a club which gives him the opportunity to do so, a good team in Eredivisie would be perfectly suited. Not saying Rubin is a bad club, but Eredivisie tends to be a good place for talents to develop. If he goes to Arsenal, he will get recycled by some Championship teams here and there and finally end up being a Ryo Miyaichi (started at Arsenal, now not even a starter for Holland 2nd division team Jong Twente).

To be honest, it's pretty annoying that he gets less playing time than the previous season. He is wasting his time in Russia!

Azmoun was his own enemy for us really.

He had some poor performances early in the season which resulted in him being dropped. Then Portnyagin came into the team, and really impressed and played well, which made it hard for Sardar to get back into the team, though he has had some good performances as a substitute (vs CSKA for example).

Either way, he is still 2nd choice striker for us which is very good, and I think a move anywhere else will stall his career further as he'll just be limited to reserve football really. He should stay and wait for his chance. After a good tournament for Iran he could get more chances for us.

I firmly believe that none of the clubs mentioned in the press are actually interested in Azmoun. From what I heard, the club that made an offer for Azmoun are one of the Moscow sides, though our manager has said that no-one will leave this windo.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but Azmoun as a second striker with his capabilities? I'd rather have him to leave for a club where he has more chance for playing-minutes. If anything, this tournament shows Rubin Kazan is wasting a talented player on the bench.

which bench? he's played in almost all of rubins games this season. which top european club will allow him do that? If he wants to move he should move to top holland club and hang out with AJB on his spare time, but not EPL. stop complaining rubin has been huge for SA! his 1st season was insane and this year has been OK
