^ well I think their offer was only 65K Euros so what would you do? Masoud is not exactly at his prime.. so sorry that our players are very late before they can really convince big teams to sign them and their motivation is always low when there are countries such as Qatar who are hungry for cheap and talented players when they are desperate and they have been working on iranian talents for different reasons. what could these players do? at least they pay much more than that lousy Spanish offer.__________________________________________________ ________________________________________

I don't think the Qatari clubs go after Iranian players to kill our football or hinder our progress (as some would like to believe). As previously stated elsewhere, these clubs are limited to three foreign players so it's only logical that they look within Asia to add further talent to their squads.
5 of the 23 players on South Korea's latest squad are also playing in the Middle East, whether it be in Qatar, UAE, or Saudi Arabia.

It's evident that we can't just drop all the fools that decide to go to PG teams, but players like Masoud should be dropped anyways, whether he plays in Spain or even infinitely times worse, in Qatar as he is just a weak link.Originally posted by K. But on the other hand whether we like it or not players like Dejagah, who is still (and I accentuate on still as it may change soon) a must-have in our unit. Guys like Pouladi and Hosseini must be kept at least until the end of the Asian Cup as they are also indispensable. Gucci could be dropped I wouldn't care at all as we have two strikers evolving in Europe and I rather play them than an Amateur league player.

Ultimately, the end goal should be to have so many players in Europe that we will have the flexibility to call up the best ones at any given time (similar to Japan). Shojaei unfortunately did not have the same impact in Team Melli as others had but he performed extremely well at club level for both Osasuna and Las Palmas. If I were a neutral, seeing Masoud dismantle Atletico or cause Real's defence problems would give me more reason to call him up to the national team rather than the IPL's player of the moment.Originally posted by Zandi360 View PostIt's evident that we can't just drop all the fools that decide to go to PG teams, but players like Masoud should be dropped anyways, whether he plays in Spain or even infinitely times worse, in Qatar as he is just a weak link.
