But talent wise they are getting better and better. We had only 3 starters in top leagues at the same time even in our golden days. (2004/05: Mahdavikia@HSV, Zandi@Kaiserslautern, Rezaei@Messina)

As of the end of Round 3, Japan is the most successful foreign country in the Bundesliga. (even better than Brazil lol)

I think Dejagah has an injury that he is not revealing.

I'm sure it's the same injury from last year and it played an important part in his decision to leave Fulham. Magath is definitely not the kind of coach you want to be recovering from a nagging injury under. I think he pushed Ashkan way too hard toward the end of the season last year to the point that Ashkan was completely burn-out in the WC.

His two choices were stay in Fulham and turn a nagging injury into a career ending disability or go take it easy in one of the Arab leagues and recover at your own pace - not to mention make some good money while you're on the bench. Frankly, I think it was the Qataris that got ripped off, not Ashkan!

Shojaei was on the bench for the full match.. I guess he's not match fit (even for Qatar standards) considering that he was clubless until a week ago, his team lost 4-0.

Looks like they all are having a great time in Qatar warming the bench getting match practice and staying in shape..

God help us during the Asian Cup.

Lol, Ashkan Dejagah has number 86 on his jersey.

Apparently it looks like he will ride the bench for entire season as he is not even part of their main team, now I understand how this was a good deal for Ashkan considering he has high wages for basically doing nothing.

^ Haha I bet you, haven't Iran and Qatar been in the same group for the AC, their tokhmi clubs wouldn't have bought half our national team!!
