wrong..!! that was during peak of his career, pre-long term foot injury that sidelined him for nearly 2 years...!!
even in his career peak he was very inconsistent performer both for Osa and TM...!! In his two+ seasons in Osa he probably had no more than a handful of exceptional performances, perhaps even less..!!?

its silly to assume he can now be relied upon as a regular solid performing starter in TM..!!

True....but what about in TM? It's always a slip, bad balance, ball out of the stadium from a shot, getting tackled off easily in legit way, etc.
I was impressed by his goals though. Al Sadd are a top team in Qatar Stars League and he scored a hat trick to fight for his club's relegation against a team who didn't want to drop points in order to win the QSL. It is a downgrade of how I would have liked his career to go like...Respect to him for staying in Europe as long as he had stayed. I can understand why the other teams didn't go in full force for him with enough wages to make him move or make a move move for him at all. Your international games are always watched! Even if CQ keeps starting you for some reason to make a fool out yourself because clearly his confidence in TM has been shattered for quite some time. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out who's club is interested in signing him. Omidvaram that he regains it in WC or sits kindly on the bench.

He should play in the center as a number 9-like player like he did at las palmas. He is too slow as a winger and can make more chances from the center.

When did I say he should be a regular or in TM or at ALL? My point was Masoud was being unfairly bashed and I made the point that one's technical skills dont disappear at 30 but ones physical may dissappear.

& tbh, with mightyAK8 & KB out of the picture, he is just about the only technically sound player we got left in our current TM..! you'd need such a player in case you fall behind early and have to open up tightly packed defenses..!!
