Because NEC has nothing to do in the Jupiler League. Their relegation from last year was something which almost never occurred especially with their good players.

When you put a mid-table Eredivisie team in the Jupiler League, they will smash everyone left and right. For example, NEC won 7-1(!) against the number 4 of the table, this isn't really normal. I have been to quite few games in the Jupiler League, it is a very weak league where most players barely get minimum-wage. For exception of a few clubs, the rest is close to semi-pro with a lot of players who are under amateur contract.

I am not taking away credits from the teams accomplishment, just telling the way it is.

Apparently Jahanbakhsh is absent for NEC's training camp in Curacao, it could be an obvious sign for a transfer.
