its way too early in transfer season, especially for any top tier team for which he isnt a PRIMARY capture target..!!
those teams first go after the marquee high dollar signees after they capture them, they Somewhat built the team around them.

He's practically a steal though. Given his age, his stats, achievements and accolades he's earned in the last two years. And he's done it in Eredivisie and Jupiter leagues respectively. So it goes without saying that eredivisie teams should be after him instead of this awkward prolonged silence and tacit lack of interest. Do they even have BIP - better in position - players than Jahanbakhsh? WTF?

Eredivisie finished in late may and starts its new season in early August. This is actually the prime time for transfers. If they're not interested he should take the Brighton offer instead of staying with NEC.

Hopefully he won't regret the fact that he rejected Anderlecht earlier.

Seeing how Eredivisie sides are not amused he could have left to Belgium.

Actually the preseason is already starting.

id much rather he stayed at NEC than transferring to Brighton..!! going there especially at this time, would be a very risky and stupid proposition ..!
like you im little wondering why he hasnt been snatched up already by better teams, afterall his transfer fee is measly 2mil only..! just how broke are some of these better teams of Eredivisie to not have made more serious attempts to capture ARJ already..!!?
fact is the last time he played Eredivisie football his stats was not all that impressive, and NEC couldnt attract a buyer for him in eredivisie at similar transfer fee, it seems top teams dont put too much weight on his success last year in Jupiler league and with his contract term down to 1 year, they probably wanna cheaper transfer fee..??
            another reason could be that
most top Eredivisie teams know there are only 1-2 other serious contenders for the championship crown and first they wanna wait and see how their competition setting up their team for next season, before they form their final roster to counter them..!!?

NEC probably wouldnt like it too much, but ARJ for now better off staying put and try to prove his worth better next year in eredivisie and leave next season as a much more marketable free transfer ..!

im still confident he will leave NEC later this transfer season, probably in the last two weeks before deadline..!!

NEC over any (EPL DIV.2/Belgium/Russia/SPL) side.

Problem is NEC is broke and does not have enough money to pay JB if he wants to stay. NEC is counting on JB transfer to fill their pocket and buy a couple of cheap good talents from Joupiler league and boost up their team.

Hes a gauranteed day 1 starter at Brighton.
Face reality, if other teams wanted him as a serious starter, they'd be well named. All these other teams would only pick up Alireza to deepen their bench. I don't know about you but I'm pretty sure him having a guaranteed starting 11 spot weighed in his decision to choose brighton.

Sure I would love to have seen him at Celtic or Norwich but lol let's be real, he'd be a supersub and have to prove his spot and taking over the starter.

Why do you think staying in NEC would be better for him? NEC is a weaker team in Eredivisie than Brighton is at championship. And as you touched upon this. There is absolutely no way he can mimic his Jupiter league stats with NEC in eredivisie. How would that exactly help him further his career if he stays in NEC? Like I said, the top tier eredivisie teams have already seen JB play and are fully aware of him. If they wanted him they would have come forward by now and made a respectful offer.

Brighton on the other hand has a history of being a great stepping stone for good players to move up to EPL. People in here are way too afraid of the championship because of what happened to Gucci. Do you guys quit dating women after having a single bad date?

He has rejected Brighton, NEC is a candidate for relegation this season, so what next?

                        True.
What's wrong if he stays at NEC, battling the likes of Ajax, PSV, AZ, ... ?
I'd rather see this than see him sink in to obscurity in Belgium, Russia, turkey, ... etc

ABSOLUTELY!! NEC is a good team, and way better than lowly ranked English EPL teams!

That's a naive assessment of the situation.

Their appeareance in 2nd devision was just an accident follwed by a direct promotion they proved that they belong to Eredivisie.

They might not be a title contender but NEC truely belong to Eredivisie. Period.
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

Let's check the odds and predications soon and see who is naive?

Better idea: Let's wait and judge the standing/table at the end of the season.
