The away match against Telstar will start in 20 minutes.
Same starters, subs and injuries as on friday.
The match unfortunately won't be broadcasted...
Telstar is a weak opponent, but a cult club.

Telstar - N.E.C.: 0-1 by Santos. Not an assist by Alireza.

It was a direct red card. According to people on twitter he hit another player in the face with his elbow.
If that's true, it would be very stupid of him. He should be smarter and more mature.

They just showed it on TV (where they broadcasted another match).
Alireza stood on the back of a player, who was on the ground. The ref didn't see it, but the assistent did. Maybe they can prove that it was an accident. Otherwise he will probably be suspended for 3 or 4 matches.

He's just missing a match, not getting kicked out of NEC and banned from Europe

Very short highlights without sound. Just the goal and the red card. Here you can see what happened:

Probably this will be taken of youtube soon.

It looks very strange, but he doesn't look to the ground when he starts standing on the back of the player and as soon as he notices it, he takes back his foot. I think it was an accident. Hopefully he won't get suspended.

Looked like he got caught and beat on the play, and he did what 100s of others have done, and stopped the forward momentum of the opposition. Worthy of a yellow yes...red you could argue harsh given that ARJ had support behind him and it wasn't a clear break had he let the player go by. I can't see him getting anything beyond the match suspension the red card brings. No elbow to the face, and he was quick to apologize and check on the player.

The foot seems completely accidental, as if he was continuing his run, and the player just unfortunately was in the way. He wasn't directing any anger, and he held up and removed his foot immediately.

And the player on the ground didn't even react to the foot in his back. He probably didn't even feel it.
