Today CEO of NEC Bart van Ingen said in an interview that selling Jahanbakhsh in the winter break is too risky. They won't allow him to leave because they need Jahanbakhsh in order to promote to Eredivisie.
Personally, reading these statements on Jahanbakhsh makes me happy. The club does everything to keep him, and believes he is their key to promotion. Especially when the club is apparently 1.7 million euro in debt.

Kickoff: 14:30 CET
A rainy day today in Nijmegen. Alireza Jahanbakhsh did not join the training because of a light knee injury. Instead he paraded around with his umbrella.
Meanwhile - as usual - his teammates were seriously working and all of them - in particular Mike Vanhamel - were demonstrating great work ethic.
