Which means N.E.C. will become champion against Sparta on the 3rd of april.
With a tie or win of course, or if Eindhoven drops any points in their game. Too bad the fans looked like they were ready to party hard after clinching the title - not to mention my prediction from a month ago that NEC would clinch the title today!

Well, it would be great, if we had become champion today, as no team in the Netherlands has been champion so early in the season. But personally I think it's better this way. Now N.E.C. can become champion in our own stadium, which is sold out already, against Sparta, who got us relegated last year.

"NEC attacker Jahanbakhsh dreaming of Rio
March 23, 2015
NIJMEGEN - NEC fog in the preparation for the championship game on Good Friday star player Alireza Jahanbakhsh. The tip chases the next few weeks in Asia on the Olympic dream. There are four games on Iran for Young increments.
Jahanbakhsh (21) Saturday already taken the plane to Tehran. He then reported to the selection of coach Mohammad Khakpour. The Iranian Olympic team is then set on Monday with a 5-0 win over Nepal. Jahanbakhsh did not, participated. He was calm.
Iran is now playing even against Palestine (27 March), Afghanistan (29 March) and Saudi Arabia (31 March).
After the grueling tour Jahanbakhsh flies rushed back to the Netherlands. He is expected back on Wednesday, April 1st. Two days later, NEC opposite Sparta. The Nijmegen club can win the title in the first division."
According to the local newspaper De Gelderlander, N.E.C. expects that Alireza will leave this summer. According to them, N.E.C. asks at least 2 million euros and the following clubs have been interested in getting Alireza: Celtic (Scotland); Anderlecht, Club Brugge, Standard Luik (Belgium); Norwich City (England); FC Groningen, SC Heerenveen (Netherlands).
The only thing N.E.C. says is that there have been a lot of scouts and clubs should pay a certain amount of money.
I'm not sure if we should fully trust this story. That clubs are interested is clear, but this story makes it bigger than it truely is. And for instance Groningen and Heerenveen don't have enough money. But in the same story it is also mentioned that Limbombe might go to Stuttgart or Twente, but Stuttgart is relegating at the moment and Limbombe said he was happy to be able to play on the highest national level. Also Twente has financial problems, that are so big they even lost 3 points as a punishment. They don't have the money. Therefore I really think this story makes everything a bit more sensational than it is.
There are just a few things clear:
A lot of clubs are interested, including the ones mentioned, but probably many more.
N.E.C. knows this and is therefore looking for a replacement in case Alireza leaves.
N.E.C. wants a certain amount of money and many people speculate about this.
Actually the only news is that we get a few names of clubs that are interested.
^frankly he is much better off extending contract with NEC, if those are the alternative interested clubs..!!
If he is Herneveen, Groningen, Club Brugge, Anderlecht and Standard Leige are intrested in him, he should take it. All these clubs are near a European spot every year
Norwich city has a good chance to promote back to the premier league this year. If he goes there we could have jahanbakhsh play in England. However, I don't think his style fits that greatly in England so I think it's best he just stays in Netherlands or goes to belgium
