I would assume it's fitness. He's been waiting for a while to sign for a team. Imagine all the chelo kebab (in iran) and paella dishes (in spain) he ate while waiting to sign with Osasuna.

If it's not fitness, then probably adjusting to the Spanish game. Players coming from different continents and don't have legit European experience don't usually start this fast.
