Sounds a bit fishy to say the least. It looks like they only signed him so that he would come to Spain and the tax authorities could take back what he owed them by cleaning out his account. And since they got that, Osasuna or Spain weren't even interested in giving him a re-entry visa!

Yes it seems Osasuna were too broke to tax his salary and so authorities now took from him.

No doubt Osasuna owes him the money, but that doesn't change the fact all his money is gone for now.
