Reading Ezzatollahi's news just reminded that Atletico offered Ali Karimi a move when he was 19 - which he rejected. Damn, what a poor decision. At least, Saeed didn't make the same mistake.

As I mentioned before, Saeed's move to Athletico redeems Karimi's 15 years ago ... it is a belated victory for us Iranian fans.

Make no mistake about it, despite Karimi's flair and brilliance, Saeed is a machine that can be fine-tuned to be the best ever, we've had. He is everything a modern player should be: physical, can shoot, pass, visionary and is fast.

Saeed Ezzatollahi will win the ballon d'or, then become the next Iranian president, and he will give us Azadi! And due to his awesome football skills, he will later on become the first Iranian president of USA too, right before he cured cancer and diabetes. This is all before the age of 25. He will put the memory of Pele and Maradona in his backpocket.

All kidding aside, he is a great player, and will certainly be a name in Iranian football to remember. Really impressed how after they saw him play they wanted him to train with the A-team!

Btw, he will not play vs. Juve as he will only be eligible from Oct. 2. With the u-19 championship starting a week later, he might miss some more matches, depending on if Atletico even let him go at all or not.

مدیر فنی گفت با تیم اصلی تمرین کن

یک بازی دوستانه داشتیم که مدیر فنی تیم بزرگسالان هم تماشاگرش بود. بعد از پایان بازی به من گفت که به تمرین تیم اصلی بروم و همراه سایر بازیکنان کار کنم. او مرا پسندیده بود و به همین دلیل راهی تیم اصلی شدم.

سیمئونه به من خوشامد گفت

دیگو سیمئونه در آغاز تمرین به من خوشامد گفت و برای من آرزوی موفقیت کرد. چهره اش خیلی جذبه دارد و مربی فوق العاده ای است. من در تمرین بعد از بازی شان در لیگ قهرمانان کنار تیم اصلی بودم. بازیکنانی که بازی کرده بودند ریکاوری کردند و بقیه در تمرین حاضر شدند. تیاگو، گریژمان، چرچی، رائول گارسیا و رائول خیمنز در تمرین بودند و من هم کنارشان کار کردم.

I just saw the roster of their main team, literally all youngsters have been loaned to Liga Adelante teams. So we must keep in mind that Ezzatollahi will most likely follow the same path before he becomes established or breaks through in their main team.
