I hope that Sardar has a good first half season and gets some suitors in December, but my feeling is that like most players, he will be warming up in the first half of the season. I think he will do okay and score 4 or 5 goals in the first half of the season, and resign with Rostov in December. Hope I'm wrong though and he scores 10, because then there will be a few teams knocking on his door.

Unfortunately he has stated that he will stay in Russia until 2018.

Yeah, I heard that. If he scores enough though, and another team of higher quality wants him, maybe a Zenit or Spartak, I think he would go. Maybe even change leagues. I think that after all that media hysteria last year, he's trying to play himself down as so many people gave him a hard time for those rumors. He probably doesn't want to say anything anymore so he won't get out of favor more with his fans who are starting to see him as a guy who talks too much and isn't focused on football.

I think he will be focused this upcoming season, but if he doesn't prove himself, he will be at Rostov for a while. If he does prove himself, he won't have much choice but to leave. Rostov will push him to sign elsewhere to get that transfer fee.

i hope rostov will relegate next year so these 2 brainless or sorry iranian players enjoy their choice.

i wish he woulda opted for Getafe deal instead..!!
but there are so many undisclosed details about such transfers that we dont really know, hear about in media..!! so its hard to pass clear judgment on them..!!

i just hope neither sign LONG TERM deals at Rostov..!!
i still think at least, Sardar is just too good to be stuck in Russian league for too much longer..!! That kid is legit Talent, destined for top 3-4 EU leagues..!! all he has to do is hire a well experienced, professional agency to rep him..!! his father can remain his personal agent but as far as player main Rep that job is just way over his inexperienced head..!!

You are completely out of line, a small midtable European team like Rostov is exactly what these to young players need!! this will also them to grow and mature. they are still young and have a lot to learn.

Playing in big teams can be detrimental to them at this stage as they may not get their chance. it is better for them to get as much playing time as possible rather than be bench warmers.

Our big problem is to create interest of decent european clubs for our players. Going to Rostov will make him disappear from the radar. Look to Azmun who is in a top russian club, with ton of international goals, newpapaers/site buzzing around him, and no clubs really interested.

If it doesn't work well there for Ezza (or if he is just average/good), it is over for a career in a top league

Honestly for Saeid this isn't the worst move ever if he can get some playing time in the main team.

not necessarily, have you ever asked maybe, just maybe Azmun's level right now is at a level of Rostov or a midtable European team!?? Maybe if he does getting any offers is because he is not as "Good" as we think he is. I am sure if he was "As Good" as we think he is, someone would have picked him up already. Most European clubs have scouts all over europe and with the games being broadcast live they get enough airtime to showcase themselves.

Plus, very few, and I really mean very few, players make it to "Big teams" right away. In almost ALL cases they all start from smaller clubs and work themselves to the "Big League". I am not going to list all the players that have started out in small clubs and have slowly worked their way up!! but there is hundreds of them

Take a look at the Swedish u-21 Squad who won the U-21 Euro Championship. None of them, NONE made it to a top european team, Guidetti to Celta-Vigo, Majstorovic to Palermo and so on.

Having Saeid and Sardar playing alongside each other is a great thing for TM. These our the stars of our team. Having them work on their game together will only improve the level of team chemistry for TM

Very similar to the chemistry between Shojaei and Nekounam during their Osasuna years.

About the first part. Azmun has the potential to play in a better team than Rostov. And it is the case of many players in Iran before or now. But with these teams snubbing and/or iranian players "intelligence", they rot in the wrong team/league. How many iranians could have done something in their career, if these stupid opportunities were really finalized?

About the second part, why not playing in small clubs when you are young. But the bad choice for them is going to a small club in an average league that doesn't have a lot of attention (still better than IPL or Qatar). Who is going to buy/loan them if they do average in such clubs?
The best part for signing for let say Arsenal (Azmun) or Atletico (Ezza) is that their name are stuck to these prestigious name. And with that you will always have decent teams interest for them, specially if it doesn't work well there for X or Y reasons. For example, you have Getafe and Rostov interested by a guy that did nothing so far at a high level but just because he is in atletico.

And it will be nice to see iranians stop this bache nene attitude "Oh I want to be with berdyev, Oh I want to be with an other iranian in my euro team". Leave your confort zone!!!

Not a bad move for Ezi. I'd have preferred for him to continue through Atletico Madrid's set up or to stay in Spain, but potential first team action in Russia's top division isn't bad at his age. A loan deal would be best, or he just needs to transfer later and not get stuck there like Sardar. On the bright side, Azmoun & Ezatolahi will be on the same team in FIFA 16 Nekounam/Ansarifard's Osasuna vs. Azmoun/Ezatolahi's Rostov all day errrrrrrday
