Take a look at the Swedish u-21 Squad who won the U-21 Euro Championship. None of them, NONE made it to a top european team, Guidetti to Celta-Vigo, Majstorovic to Palermo and so on.

This is an excellent move for EZ. For those trying to say otherwise, please think that he is going to playing in semi-pro league for athletics C to being a first team player for a mid table Russian team, with a good coach, and a fellow Iranian to help him acclimatize. Many agents make these types of moves for players so they realize the value of professionalism and that football is first and foremost a job. No matter the nation, weather, circumstances, you must be tough and keep working. I draw some similarities to Yaya toure. He also moved from a good team in Belgium, when being followed by the worlds top teams, to metalurh Donetsk, a mid table team in Ukraine, when there league was really weak. Then he went to more Western European teams and eventually to barca and beyond. The reason why, his agent said yaya needs to learn what it means to be a footballer, and that it is a job. This experience makes it so that later in there careers players can cope with problems, loss of confidence, etc

Will be hoping to see him and Azmoun starting together. It'll be good for the national team, would have liked for him to stay in Spain if he had a better option than his current team. Regardless its a good move and it is great to have two iranian youngsters on a European team together!
