Didn't know game was on, just saw the result!! GREAT job whitecaps !! They are through into the play offs, plays Dallas on Wednesday! Second time they have qualified into the playoffs in club history and set a record for points. ps. The White Caps are proof (to the dismay of all Toronto FC fans) that you don't have to have the highest payroll in order to make the playoffs. A solid budget spent on a team addressing needs and voids rather than "big name" recruitment is much more effective in today's game. Of course their is no substitute for talent, but could 11 Messi's win the world cup? Likely not.Remember RESPECT BEGETS RESPECT & Zob Ahan

"Vancouver Whitecaps - 2014 Season Review - Defenders
In future years, when we look back and try to remember the 2014 Whitecaps MLS season there are a few things that will pop to mind. The low production in the scoring department will probably be one of the first things, however one has to think that the solid performance of the back line has to be up there.
Let's take a quick look at each individual defender in more detail:
Steven Beitashour - Dubbed by Carl Robinson as "arguably the best right back in the league," Steven Beitashour came in to take the baton from retired YP Lee. While it can be argued that Beitashour had a wobbly start to the season, he settled in as the season progressed and proved his worth especially in the defensive end with shrewd positioning and efficient marking. Perhaps some will say that he came advertised as a great assister, however, let's give him a break because when you have no one to put the ball in the back of the net it is hard to rack up assists. One has to think that he is a lock in to be protected in the upcoming expansion draft."

Why do you keep bringing up Atashkadeh? He was invited to one camp, and didnt see 1 minute of playing time...
And Omid Nazari did his job when he was here. He did perfectly fine and was a good young player. He wasn't anything less than the players we have now in his position (besides Nekou and Ando of course).

If Atashkadeh was a good player he would have remained in the squad like Dejagah, Gucci, etc.
HAHA HAHA HAHA
Hata dar mahalate Iran az Omid Nazari bazikona behtari darim. We have better players than Nazari even in the villages of Iran.
Anyway my discussion was about Beitashour where he said that he would not have come to Iran NT if he had chance to play for USA, and no anyone else.

O. Nazari probably wouldn't start in any of the top half IPL teams to say the least. He also should have chosen Philippines because he would have been a fixed player for them, although I'm sure his goal was like Steven to play the WC with Iran and he gave it a try.
It's pretty sad that TM has become a place for other countries rejects but these guys are not very important because none of them will probably get more than few caps for Iran as they are not good enough. Davari included, we have plenty of good potential and younger keepers better than him.

Your discussion was about Beitashour and nobody else? You are the one that mentioned Atashkadeh and Nazari so stop with the nonsense.
All I know is that Nazari never disappointed when playing with TM. He did his job and that is that. There was no hurt in trying out a 22 year old player and see how it turned out. Whether we have better players in Iran may be true, but Nazari performed just as acceptable as Ebrahimi and Reza Haghighi in their TM games.
Also, where is your source? Is it from the same Iranian media that claimed Mehrdad Oladi tried to kill himself?? (when in reality he just punched a window)
