I think his arrogant attitude in the run up to WC has some to do with CQs complete disregard for his existence since WC. Of course combined with the fact that he just isn't that good of defender ..!

Sorta same with Danny boy's apathetic attitude about attending TM training camps.

Now, CQ must feel very desperate about their positional need & these two must be playing a supreme club football @ the same time, for them to have any chance of a TM recall ..!

I hope he is a surprise. But Im sort of doubting it, because if he was invited it would be in the news on ESPN or FOX Soccer who cover MLS.

Anyways, this guy should be back in the national team. As much as I respect Heydari (as one of his big fans), he needs to retire. Unless he can run with the other RB then he should just stick with domestic football.

I think he played a solid game. He wasn't involved in the offense much but he had some great passes and intercepted a few key balls. I hope to see him in TM. As a matter of fact, he may be a very good replacement for Ehsan if he can switch sides.

I know some of Steven's family friends, and he hasn't been called by TM. He is pretty sad, as he thinks he's been working hard in MLS, but Steven isn't called anymore. We could have used him with Rezaeian in Ghafouri's absence in the upcoming matches.

I'm 99% sure the reason is that there is pressure from the federation not to invite him, since he is Assyrian Iranian. Same with Davari being half-polish. The IFF tries to get the half-blooded people out of the team, as far as I remember reading.
