Thank you for a level-headed response. This is the type of response I hope to get when I write my long posts on these topics. I see your point as well that conspiracy theories are often dead wrong, but I was basing my argument on the fact that with Ghafouri out of the upcoming matches, Beitashour should be an easy choice for CQ, seeing as how he's played for us in the past, is in good form, etc.

You are right though that it could be that CQ doesn't like his more attacking style of play (although I would argue that Rezaeian plays like a younger Beitashour, both have deadly crosses and are more attack minded), while Ghafouri is CQ's top choice, since he is Heydari 2.0, except better in my opinion than the original Heydari. I think we can agree that Beitashour is a top 5 RB in Iran, and I would say reasonable minds would agree. I think it devolves into conspiracy theories, because of the fact it seems like a universal truth that Beita is one of our top players in that position, but is overlooked even in the large camps CQ sets up.

I guess we won't know until CQ addresses it himself. I would agree that we all know now why Davari isn't invited, but with Beita, it is a mystery. According to his family, even he doesn't know why. He's apparently been in contact with several of the current TM players and wants to return to the team. He was very sad to be left out of the AC roster.

My mind jumps to conspiracies because of the Iranian media who loves purporting conspiracies lol, and the fact that it just doesn't make much sense. Hopefully in one of the upcoming match press conferences, someone will ask CQ about it. It would save us a lot of hassle and speculation.

Ghafouri generally tends to be a very balanced RB, with incredible work rates and stamina, he loves going up but comes back to defend all the time. He is the typical CQ player which is what got him his starting place.

Rezaeian is the best Iranian crosser IMO among the current players, no one comes quite close and it's true that he is more offensive like Heydari. Beitashour to me looks to be a balanced player like Vouria, very "mechanical" and classical RB who doesn't make major mistakes but isn't a difference maker as well at the same time. He is a good backup to have especially when he's on good form and I actually previously said that I didn't mind if he even started vs Turkmenistan and especially Guam considering the surface of their pitch.

I don't think anyone would be against Beitashour performing even better than all of our RBs and proving everyone wrong, we all want the best players in every positions. He might get his chance and get invited, we never know, the list isn't out and CQ said that they were some "surprises".

Can we use Beita instead of Khosro as our RB right now that Ghafouri is injured? and Montazeri + Husseini are out! If we have Beita on RB we can release Rezaian to be used in RW along Torabi. JB is not impressive so far. JB can be a possible backup for Amiri in LW since we don't have Mohamadi and HajSafi will be stuck on LB.
