Heydari gets tons of assists every season. A lot more than Beitashour or anyone else.
btw, as always he had defensive mistakes that nearly led to goals. but he also made a good defensive play.

You clearly have a lot of PGL knowledge, follow the league closely, and you're a big fan. I think it frustrates you that the league you've spent so much time watching and learning about just sucks. PGL sucks. 98% of the players in the PGL aren't international caliber. In fact, if it weren't for our core of 5-6 players with European experience, our team wouldn't be so much better than Qatar or UAE.
Sorry to break it to you, but just about anyone who plays outside Iran is going to be preferable to a player in Iran. Players in Iran don't know anything about professionalism, nutrition, following orders, and team spirit.
I personally don't like Beitashour's 'mercenary' attitude. But I respect CQ's decision and know that him being on the squad is an overall "plus". Now, if suddenly, now that the World Cup's ended, Beitashour turns his back on TM or brings up excuses to not play in friendlies or participate in camps, I'll be the first person there to bash him with you.
But for Gods sake, realize that the players you follow in PGL mostly suck.

Dude, don't disrespect clipsport. He's right, enayati, borhani, majidi, and Rahmati are 1000x better than Dejagah, Gucci, Davari, and Beitashour. IPL is a breeding ground for talent. Don't forget that Borhani hit a goal one time for TM against Bosnia in a friendly. What a king.
Don't forget that Khosrow Heydari has multiple goals/assists a game (mostly in his dreams), but it's still real to him dammit. Heydari is a God, don't lie to yourself. He sometimes can put his head down and run in a circle 3 times!! You heard it, 3 times! He loses the ball and I rip the hair out of my head, but he tried damnit. Beitashour on the other hand give kids cancer and eats old people's brains to gain their knowledge, so we have to never say anything nice about him.
Oh, except that he had one, yes one, nice pass in his recent game. Clipsport is a gentleman, he can acknowledge the ONE pass, but nothing more. Beita is the devil. The Great Satan.

You are absolutely right. This comes from a "boomi-prefered" culture in Iranian football. In many Iranian teams, fans hugely prefer local grown players. They are only willing to accept "non-boomi" players if they are better than the "boomi" players.
I have no problem with Dejagah and Gucci. They are obviously heads and shoulders above our home grown players.
I can't say the same about Beitashour and Davari. At least with Davari you could argue that he plays in Europe and not a low quality robotic league like the MLS.
But why do I dislike Beitashour? Shouldn't I dislike Davari even more? well no. Here is why.
Dejagah, Gucci, Davari, Nazari, etc. all came to TM before we had qualified for the WC. They came and helped (or were willing to help) us qualify to the WC in a very difficult WCQ campaign.
Where was Beitashour during all this? practicing with the USMNT and trying to impress Klinsmann to get into the US WC squad. But he got rejected there and we qualified to the WC. Then he remembered that he can go to the WC with us. Great. We'll do all the hard work. We'll take all the pain, and the guy who was not even interested in playing for us now gets a free ride. And after he gets that undeserved free ride, he has the audacity to bitch that he didn't get playing minutes and that it was unfortunate for him to miss out on the USMNT b/c of an injury etc. Seriously why should I respect and support this kind of behavior?
That's the reason why I don't like him. I hope I was clear.

he said he was disappointed that he didn't play and that CQ told him he will play after the Nigeria match but because Montazeri did so well he didn't play (something along those lines). He didn't exactly bitch, he just expressed his disappointment and rightly so too.چو ایران نباشد تن من مباد
We thank and support Mr.Kamran Delan for many years of dedication and service to Iranian Football Community.

We should prefer foreign based players IF they are better than our league players. People here don't realize that our "core" players have mostly been produced by the IPL. If we bring Dejagah to Iran, he will only help seriously during 3-4 years max, like you saw he came towards the end of the WCQ and apart from few matches didn't do much in our qualification, and in the World Cup either as a matter of fact (except vs Argentina). This shows you that the "core" of the team is what is important and that core will always come from our local league. The foreign based players are short term plans, they use the name of the country to get to competitions like the WC and once they accomplish this, they turn back and go to A-rab countries for the $.
I prefer a player if he's better not because he's foreign and plays in a below average league which has exciting ESPN coverage. I prefer someone like Omid Ebrahimi than Omid Nazari, just because the latter is not good enough. I prefer Hamed Lak to Daniel Davari, Sadeghian to Hasegawa ect... And Montazeri or Heydari to Beitashour so far.
You guys have to stop being so typical khareji parast and start believing in your own talent. An english Iranian guy will not drop out of the heaven to save our team, our local talent will determine our success.
