In the end everything I said ended up being true. About how he only came b/c we qualified to the WC etc. You are just so poroo that you can't accept that you were wrong and you try to twist things and make the issue about me and not Beitashour.
And go back and read the old thread. He was being portrayed as the best right back the country has ever seen. Head and shoulders above Heydari, Mahini, Montazeri etc. And how the MLS is so much better than the IPL etc. Typical irrational Ajnabi-Parast stupidity.
And when someone comes and says the complete opposite of what you have been saying on this forum, then they become subject to bashing. Just accept that Beitashour isn't any good and that he only chose Iran over the US b/c he thought he had a better chance with Iran to get WC playing time. Basically what I have been saying all along.
And yes, Beita is head and shoulders above Heydari and Mahini. Heydari was our worst player in the WC. Montazeri is 31. So having an option in Beita is great.
MLS is better than the IPL, but IPL is better than lets say... the Icelandic league... so much for your silly theory.
And those are my opinions, I don't whine and cry when someone has a different opinion. You pout and throw hissy fits.راه یکی است و آن راستی است

For god sake, think a little bit further. I bet you all wouldn't be talking so tough and bashing him if you were put in the same position.
GN has been bashing TM since he was kicked out of TM.
I'm pretty sure all these things he mentions like "passion" etc... are just excuses to bash Beita.
We can do this for any player if we want.راه یکی است و آن راستی است

Every single one of us would have done the same thing he did but playing for a NT is more than being able to play, it needs to have emotion and heart in it.
This and nothing else.

Sorry but if this was true he would've had the same amount of playing time as Heydari in the WC. However he didn't even step on the field. I believe CQ used the best players in his eyes and as you can see Beitashour wasn't among them.

Who was called up/played in the World Cup should not be an indication of who is more talented/less talented. If that were the case, certain players would have been left at home, and others would have been brought.
He brought players like Haddadifar, and played Heydari, because those were the players who he had inherited from Daei/Ghotbi, and who he felt comfortable with, since they played on the road to Brazil. As you can probably notice, CQ is not one for taking tactical risks. He played almost the same exact team from the last 3 world cup qualifiers to the last game against Bosnia.
If he were a risk taker, and had started Jahanbakhsh (who I don't think anyone would deny was a very composed and strong player in the few minutes he played in Brazil), Beitashour, and had brought Azmoun to play as a striker alongside Gucci to take pressure off of him and gave him the chance to shine, we could have had a much stronger WC performance.
So don't argue to me that Haddadifar getting called up to Brazil automatically makes him a stronger player than Azmoun or even a Payam Sadeghian. That invitation was only because CQ felt comfortable with him.
Heydari playing does not equal him being better, actually he was a piece of sh*t in the World Cup. He was only playing because CQ was comfortable with him, and he was the safe option.

Beita mostly made the WC squad ahead of players like Azmoun because he was a defender and better suited to Carlos's overall plans for parking the bus for most part ..!!
Irrelevant of his semi-weak WC performance Heydari is still a far better Wingback and all together a Much better all around Footballer than Beita. He clearly proved that to CQ in the pre-WC preparations camps and while there @ Brazil..! Now, That is the Real reason why Heydari still got playing minutes at WC while Beita was reduced to just riding the pine and observing..!! In fact, I can next to guarantee that he will continue to play that substitute role to Heydari for the upcoming AC as well...!
ps
dont fool yourselves folks, Beita never had even a decent shot of making the USMNT..!!
and lets not get it twisted, He only agreed to joining TM after that was made blatantly clear to him by Klinsman, in the run-up WC14..!

Heck, you can have your opinions about who is better. We can agree to disagree. You acknowledge that Beita is at least a decent player, and your personal opinion is that Khosrow is better. I cannot and will not attempt to change your opinion. I feel a different way, and hopefully, this competition will benefit TM in the future.
Blindly saying that Beita is trash, and a vatan-foroush, and should be stoned for telling a US publication something that is meant to maintain his image in front of American fans (he plays in MLS, don't forget he needs to sell tickets/jerseys) is purely a troll move.
Again, thank you for your reasonable response, I will accept it. Hopefully both players will excel and help our TM. No matter what people think Beita can help TM if he improves. I'm not a fan of questioning his allegiances, but if people want to attempt to enter his brain through 1 line in an interview, then so be it. I'd rather not do that. He told Iranian publications and American publications he was proud to play for Iran many times, but this carries no weight. A loaded question from an American magazine about "not cutting it on the US squad" and he gives a one-sentence answer of being disappointed about not being called up (heck Dejagah is probably disappointed he didn't get to win the WC with Germany this year, and when Amin Nazari joins, we will always know that he preferred Sweden and will be kind of disappointed to join Iran). That will happen. We are banking on being players' second choice, sorry. As we can see, career opportunities tend to fall drastically when you join TM.
Let's see what happens come the Asian Cup. I'm not one for arguing about a players' intentions. That will get us reasonable PFDCers nowhere and will give "he who shall not be named" a raging anti-Beitashour boner. 90% of his posts are in threads to bash Beita. It's actually really weird.

My only issue with Beitashour is his age. He is 27 already and in 4 years when the World Cup 2018 is there he will be 31. Left and right backs are not known for their techniques, speed and stamina when they are past their thirties. Of course there are some exceptions but thats no comparison to Beitashour. I think he is beneficial for TM currently, but if some better and younger back shows up I give Beitashour low odds to be part of TM.

I respect your opinion, but explain why he was our worst player if he ran like a freight train the whole game against Nigeria?
He was hustling and puffing the whole match and gave 100%. CQ put him in the starting lineup because he is better than Heydari. I'm sure Khosro will start at the AC too.
They are similar type players but I believe Heydari beats Steven offensively, defensively and in transition. Beita is just faster.
